I love it but ... of course it can't happen until the America hating communist Trojan Horse Muslim usurper leaves the White Mosque.

Top ten ways to make Mexico... build a border wall.

I am fully in agreement with all your suggested methods for raising the necessary funds not only to build a wall, but more importantly to stem, if not stop, the flow of illegals.
Please pass the ALIPAC's "Top ten ways... to build a border wall." to Presidential Candidates Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Ted Cruz, & to Donald J. Trump. They are my "three horses" in this race.
I think same should be passed to The Heritage Foundation, Heritage Action for America, & to Numbers USA. for their possible incorporation in their messaging.
Thank you for the opportunity to use ALIPAC messaging... my first time.

All ten are good ideas but most of them do not address the point of actually making Mexico pay for it. We know they will not do it voluntarily so I would like to see us pay for the wall with money that actually comes from Mexico. Naturally we cut off all foreign aid to them and many others but we should get the money from things like increased fees for visas and any other thing that Mexico will have to pay if they want to do business with us (and you can be sure they do!). Using incarcerated Mexicans for labor is a good Idea but make sure we also charge Mexico for the guards and living expenses. In short I think most of the money that outlined in the ten points is money that should be ours anyway and I think Mexico should have to dig the money out of their own pocket. And why in the heck are we giving them money in the first place? 25 million to China? You've got to be kidding!!! We should also put some of our congressmen to work building that wall too. They should have to spent some quality time working alongside of those Mexicans too.

It has been pointed out that due to our being a nation of kind hearted people (SAPS), the illegals are all entitled to "due process" which would require a hearing and at least one appeal. That is the price we pay for letting them across the border and also why a physical fence is necessary. I believe that if we STRICTLY enforce our current laws and crack down on the illegals and punish those who harbor and abet them, most of them will head for some other place. I say other place because their own countries don't want them either. those who can't take the hint we should be able to deal with in our special expedited deportation courts that we will set up just as fast as we set up all kinds of hospitality centers for them.

Rather than a philosophical issue it was a serious issue that constantly threatened our jobs as teachers (poor attendance leads to consolidation of classes and teachers potentially losing their jobs). I was fed up with illegal aliens' poor life choices threatening my livelihood. It happened once and I vowed to never let it happen again. Many asked why I was retiring. To avoid bad feelings I only shared the REAL reason with select people.

At the risk of sounding culturally biased (Mexican isn't a race but an ethnicity and nationality), their behavior is self-serving. Their priorities, rather than doing the right thing by hiring a lawyer and becoming legal, are getting a job and having kids. Two ladies in my evening class in their 20s had 5 kids each- all on public assistance. That's backward!! Our administrators coddled them, telling teachers who clamped down on attendance to lighten up ("They have kids; They have jobs.") They should have thought about their obligations before coming here!! Sorry, but it's like raising kids who are learning about boundaries and responsibility. If there's no structure you end up with self-centered brats.

So, I back the points totally. No, it's not just fringe far-right folks. It's anyone who lives and works in communities with large populations of illegal aliens and has experienced the disruption and problems that uncontrolled migration has caused. Some of my former students, registered Democrats, support Trump after doing the right thing themselves.
I appreciate reading your story. Thank you for posting.

After 13 yrs. teaching English to immigrants I retired, partly because I couldn't stomach the pandering anymore. It wasn't a philosophical argument. It was because of the threat illegal and Chinese immigrants' behavior posed to my teaching position. Significant numbers of students were habitually late, left early, or were absent. They said, "I have to work."; "I don't have a babysitter.". Teacher jobs are dependent on attendance, so when class numbers fall below 18 for awhile classes are combined and someone loses their job (or they open a new beginner class from the waiting list, if you're lucky- you never know). When some of my colleagues, both immigrants, implemented consequences they were harshly reprimanded. The administration said, "They work and they have kids." Never mind our financial security. So I gave up, grabbing a secure pension and part-time online educational work.

Yes, indeed, a sizable percentage of the illegal population obtain one or more taxpayer-funded social services (two women in the spring class had 5 kids each, all on Medicaid and receiving AFDC benefits). One woman told me that she came here because it costs $3000 to have a baby in Mexico but it's free here. I was livid, explaining welfare funding to a beginning-level learner. She'd recently emerged from a coma at the L.A. County hospital due to an automobile accident, all funded by MediCal (Medicaid in CA). My 3 birth tourist students were well off, coming here to have a second child not permitted in China unless both of your parents are only children (they returned to China, knowing full well they'd gamed the system and their kids will qualify for all kinds of good stuff). All of them were very nice people, aside from unlawful disrespectful behavior. Our building handyman from Guatemala said that poor people won't be able to come here because the visa system is too expensive. So make the fees lower but make them get in line and attain benchmarks before coming here!

I love these ideas. They're not going to stop it until we make them stop it. Bravo, I hope Trump or another candidates takes up your plan and runs with it.
