We have a victory to report! Thanks in part to your calls, emails, faxes, and letters, New Mexico lawmakers just narrowly defeated special driving permits for illegal aliens. From the comments of Governor Martinez's office, it would appear she is hearing us!

It is embarrassing that Utah is almost the last state in America to continue giving illegals a permit or license to drive! Once you have made your call, then follow-up with a written version of your message. A written letter, fax, or email will reinforce your message. Calls have the most impact followed by letters, followed by faxes, followed by emails.

It's been such a long time time since I've been looking to find people with the desire to stop the illegal immigration and also able to turn this into reality. I am so glad I found ALIPAC! People all across the United States are disagreeing with so much freedom for illegal immigrants and have stated the more citizens support them; it will increase alien’s arrivals to the U.S., because they are seeking life styles they do not have in their homelands.

When U.S. citizens aid illegal immigrants in any way they should be charged with aiding and abetting or accessory, because they know undocumented aliens have arrived to this Country illegally, and commits many fraud and criminal crimes while residing in this Country.

Such charges should also apply for those who complete work applications for illegal immigrants, those who fill out false income tax forms, issue drivers licenses to persons residing unlawfully in the U.S., persons who sell automobiles to unlicensed illegal aliens, landlords renting homes to the undocumented, persons who marry illegal aliens to assist with gaining citizenship's and lastly, employers who employ undocumented aliens, aiding and abetting plus steep civil penalties.

Any person issue drivers licenses to unlawful aliens should bear the consequences of Americans fatalities on U.S. highways.

I agree fully with Pisces. Any American who aids illegals in any way even if its a spouse should be charged and held fully accountable for harbouring, aiding, and abetting.

But as fas as NM goes don't we still gotta continue the push for having the bill to end liscenses to illegals to still pass? Thought it was just the amendment to the bill to add permits we defeated but no passed bill yet to remove the liscenses?

And good for NM! When AZ passed 1070 here, the illegals were in the news speaking in Spanish saying that their next stop was NM since they can gat a DL there!
