"The punch to Nathan Tabor's face in front of his wife and crying child was an assault on all Americans that value free speech and freedom to assemble. We call on President Obama to publicly speak out against this violence conducted by one of his supporters against his political opposition. "On Tuesday June 8, the North Carolina Tea Party Patriots held a protest against government bailouts in front of Rep. Mel Watt’s (D-N.C.) Greensboro office. During the protest a raging leftist goon, Governor Spencer, turned out, disrupted the protest, confronted the patriots, argued with them and then… He started throwing punches!

The whole thing was caught on tape.

The raging goon, Governor Spencer, slugged Nathan Tabor, a business owner and head of the Forsyth County Republican Party and a former candidate for senator.

Governor Spencer is a union organizer, a socialist and a black liberation activist. Spencer led the Greensboro K-Mart protests of 1995 and mobilized families, communities, and “the Pulpit Forum of Greensboro, a coalition of progressive clergy, to commit acts of civil disobedience.â€

a black judge refuses to prosecute a black man on an assault against a white man ?

That's just pure discrimination.....plain and simple!!!! Freedom of speech is being attacked. Obama should acknowledge this, but he won't. He will say that the tea party activist was "acting stupidly" and ask the black judge over for a beer.

It sure sounds like SOMEBODY is expecting some 'social justice' against a 'rich white man', doesn't it?

Mr. Tabor behaved with extreme restraint, in my opinion.

Open attacks, assaults with no punishment? By known Domestic Terrorists? This man that assaulted a demonstrator who is merely exercising his 1st Amendment rights has a known history of violence and civil disobedience! Look at the video, videos do not lie, but people do. The assailant claims self defense? That he was pushed? Why was he the aggressor? Why is he assaulting a man in front of his wife and child? If he was defending himself, why did he get into his car and run away? This is known knowledge to anyone that has the brains to think. For those that have their heads buried in the sand, dirt or somewhere else the sun doesn't shine. This is what the anarchists are screaming for, OPEN ASSAULTS, OPEN DISRUPTIONS OF CIVIL ORDER AND OPEN CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE! Wake up!

No doubt this guy needs to be charged and prosecuted. It's pretty obvious this was an assault. What really bugs me though is that black and white has to be brought into this. Bringing up race in this incident is no different than those who call SB1070 racist. When are we on the right going to rise above that. This is an attack on a man and a woman from another man period!

That was a straight up a HATE CRIME. The stupid idiot should be tried as such.
