Senators Asked to Filibuster Immigration Reform Amnesty Bill S. 744

Senators Asked to Filibuster Immigration Reform Amnesty Bill S. 744

    For National Release

    June 26, 2013

CONTACT: Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) Press@alipac.us (866) 703-0864

The national organization ALIPAC is asking supporters to flood Senate offices with requests for a filibuster of immigration reform bill S. 744 today to buy the American press and public more time to understand the negative impacts of the legislation, which most DC lawmakers have not read prior to today's scheduled vote on Cloture.

Bill supporters need 60 Senators to vote in the affirmative to pass the bill.

"It is inappropriate for these Senators to vote on such potentially harmful legislation without having read it entirely," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We are asking Senators who oppose the bill, like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Jeff Sessions, to filibuster this bill to buy apathetic Americans and media more time to understand the nation destroying impact of the bill."

ALIPAC contends that more legislation promising any form of immigration law or border enforcement is inappropriate until the political influences responsible for breaking America's current immigration systems and laws can be identified and brought to justice.

Congress has passed many laws that go grossly under-enforced despite massive public outcry due to the impact of special interest groups on the Executive Branch.

Illegal immigration is having a negative impact on American workers, wages, taxpayers, voters, and citizens who are harmed by illegal immigrants, while the US Constitution specifically indicates all states are to be protected from invasion. Yet the Executive Branch refuses to adequately honor the legislation produced by Congress under the Bush and Obama administrations!

"This bill is merely an attempt to legislatively rubber stamp a defacto amnesty already created by forces not defined by the US Constitution," said William Gheen. "We need lawmakers who are still loyal to the public and Constitution to filibuster this bill to buy Americans every minute we can get for people to wake up to the overthrow of our Republic!"

American activists are encouraged to call US Senate offices today with the call for Senators to "Filibuster and vote No on the nation destroying Obama backed illegal alien amnesty bill S. 744."
