When te operator answered, I told her I didn't appreciate the Vote FOR Dream Act message and she said that is not their number. She said that number is an outside number that forwards the call to the Capital operator. She said all of their numbers start with area code 202. This particular house line is (866) 967-6018. Before they put you through you will get a recorded message saying "stand up for what's right and vote yes on the dream act."

When they put you through to the Representive, you can tell them to STAND UP FOR AMERICANS and vote NO on the Dream Act.

So we know that this number is paid for by the opposition. We just listen to their message, and then when it transfers you to a Congress person's office, you just give them YOUR message. Using this number will allow ALIPACers to make calls who couldn't otherwise afford to call. You certainly don't have to use it if you don't want to!
