Immigration PAC Disagrees With Obama's Call To Rush Amnesty Bill

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is asking federal lawmakers to proceed slowly with any immigration reform legislation and to rebuke President Obama's request that the legislation be passed quickly without adequate public knowledge and debate.

House Speaker John Boehner has acknowledged that today's "immigration compromise" is the result of 3 years of secret meetings. The bill also contains most of the components that have been rejected by the American public and Congress several times before!

ALIPAC opposes secret meetings and any legislation being rushed through.

"Obama wants the legislation derived from these secret meetings to be passed before the contents and ramifications can be debated by press and public," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "If Obama is so confident his legislation will have the support of lawmakers and the American public then why is he so eager to rush it through?"

ALIPAC believes that the Immigration Reform Amnesty legislation will be harmful to American workers, taxpayers, students, and voters. The measure will also bring more illegal immigration into America due to the reward of citizenship given to illegal aliens and their new voting bloc's ability to derail any future immigration or border enforcement called for by current American citizens.

"If Obama and the sellout Republicans working with him succeed in passing Immigration Reform Amnesty, the resulting voting bloc of over 9 million illegal immigrants will prevent future immigration enforcement and permanently destroy the borders of the United States of America," said William Gheen. "All of the enforcement promises in this legislation will be negated by the new voting bloc made up of prior illegal immigrants who have little in common with current American voters."

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC played a key role in defeating similar Immigration Reform Amnesty bills in 2006, 2007, and 2010, and has been quoted often in all major networks and news publications in America.
