Amnesty Thwarted yet some immigration language remains!
Friends of ALIPAC,
We have great news to report.
While many of you have reported in new findings this morning, we have just confirmed with Senator Jeff Session's office and other contacts in DC that the Amnesty language has been removed from the Iraq War funding bill!
It took our movement about three business days to get the phone lines and talk radio shows white hot, but yesterday we are flying in great form.
You did it! You made this happen!
Yet, our job is not complete. Our friends at NumbersUSA report...
"Unfortunately, the H-2B low-sill worker increase is still in the Iraq Supplemental so your phone calls are still needed."
WE NEED YOU ON THE PHONES AND TALK RADIO SHOWS AGAIN TODAY DEMANDING.
"Get all of the immigration language OUT of the Iraq War spending bill. Remove the H2B visa increases from this bill immediately. It is offensive that you would even consider putting immigration language into a war spending bill! Oppose the visa increases!"

Let's use our momentum to kill the H2B increases and then turn our attention and victory momentum to the states and to kicking many of these DC BUMS OUT OF OFFICE!

We have more good news to share. As the largest archive of information in existence on this issue, your support has made ALIPAC one of the top voices in America fighting illegal immigration.
We can gauge much of our success in our web traffic.
We are pleased to report that as of today, May 21 2008, we are on course to set a new monthly web traffic record. This means that more people than ever are coming to ALIPAC and learning the truth about what is happening and seeing other Americans taking action.
Our existing monthly web traffic record was set in January of 2008 when we had over 4,101,937 Hits or page views. 4.1 million pages viewed is a phenomenal level of attention.
Our current projections for this month are that we could reach 5.3 million pages viewed for May of 2008! This would set a new precedent for us, but we are not there yet.

Called Webb, Cantwell and Murray. "No Comment" from these three.
They are still researching due to the H-2B still attached to Iraq Funding Bill. I asked the staffers to please pass on comnents to go a step further and strip the H-2B provision, also say how pleased I am that the Amnesty/employment based permanent workers were stripped from the bill.IT'S NOT HOW YOU GET IN, IT'S HOW YOU GET OUT

I have a qustion before calling, faxing and e-mailing. Is it appropriate to request congressional action be taken in regards to Senators Feinstein, Craig, Mikulski, Murray, Gregg, and Leahy using a War Bill to promote amnesty, visas and self-interests?
At Feinstein's website she stated:
I have tried along with Senator Craig, Senator Hagel and others who are cosponsors to find a way to pass this bill. For more than a year, I have tried to move this bill, and we have not been able to find a vehicle.
We are at war and the 'vehicle' chosen was a war funding bill in hopes of getting an undetected, smooth ride to passage of their illegal alien and special interest agenda. A good bill stands on its own.
In a democracy the citizens should be told of bills and members of congress should not be using 'vehicles' to pass unrelated amendments via the back door. Citizens shouldn't have to maintain hypervigilance over congressional members. Shouldn't we inform congress this will not be tolerated so don't do it again.
Using the War Bill was sneaky and underhanded and as Abraham Lincoln said: "Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale, and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled or hanged.""Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

Called;
Feingold = "No Statement". I asked him to veto the Iraq Spending bill if it comes attached with the H-2B provision.
Leahy= "No Comment". My comments, same as above.
Enzi= "No Official Comment". Does NOT support amnesty ! I added my comments to be passed on RE Thanking him for his stand against any form of amnesty. Asked that the H-2B provision be stripped, and a no vote if that doesn't happen.
Corker= "No Official Statement" Has always opposed amnesty in any form. I reiterated my thnaks for his stand against amnesty, and asked that the H-2B provision be stripped.IT'S NOT HOW YOU GET IN, IT'S HOW YOU GET OUT

YEAH
I may not have been on in a while but I have been very active. I am thrilled that we have succeeded. I just called Tom Coburn's office in D.C. and they stated that they are as of now drafting up a letter to remove H-2B! They heard us loud and clear and Inhofe's phone is experiencing high volume so I had to leave a message. I also gave them a HUGE thanks for listening to their constituents. I told the man at Coburn's office that Feinstein thought the Americans were too stupid to know what she was trying to do and now the joke is on them. He laughed and agreed with me.
Man, I am so pumped. So, continue sending me updates like you already do, because along with ALIPAC'S emails and my other emails, they keep me on my toes. Thanks! He ain't heavy, he's my Brother
