I called both Oregon Senators
People answering the phone at offices of both Oregon Senators...Senator Smith, and Senator Wyden said that ....
" the Senator has not made a decision, or at least I don't know of one yet..."
I said...basically....' I do not support this bill with the immigration issue in it... immigration is a separate issue from funding the Iraq War.'
......and both locations said they would let the Senator know...
This was 1:15 PDT.... so give them a call.... They asked for my zip code...

I just got off of the phone with Bunning and McConnell's D.C. offices. I was told that Bunning is voting against it. I was told that McConnell voted against it last week, and that he intends to maintain that vote on the floor. Of course he is up for re-election this year, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with the change in his voting lately. But i'm not convinced that easily. I will certainly be watching closely to how he votes!

Thanks guys on the conformations!
Has anyone tried Hagel? He should be right up there with Feinstein, since he is a co-sponsor of the Ag-JOBS legislation.

The Ag Hag said,
I have tried along with Senator Craig, Senator Hagel and others who are cosponsors to find a way to pass this bill. For more than a year, I have tried to move this bill, and we have not been able to find a vehicle.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I spoke with Rockefeller's Charleston office for the 2nd time. The staffer said based on Rockefeller's past voting record he was pretty sure, Rockerfeller would vote no to amnesty. He said he'd call the DC office to find out for sure.......I was unable to get a live person when I called DC.....DC office is open until 6:00 CA time...his office is closing at 5:00 PM my time.
