THE $50 BILLION HYPOCRITE
Mark Zuckerberg's destructive stance on immigration and refugee policy.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has a net worth that exceeds $50 billion, but he really wants you to know that he's a Champion of the proverbial “little guy.” How does he prove this? By promoting the notion that America would benefit greatly from the swift legalization of countless millions of illegal aliens—you know, “little guys”—who are highly likely to become permanent wards of the welfare state and, most importantly, permanent Democratic voters.
In 2013 Zuckerberg visited Capitol Hill, where he pressed members of Congress to support an amnesty bill designed to confer citizenship to millions of people residing unlawfully in the United States. That same year, he led a dozen fellow tech-industry executives in co-founding the organization FWD.us, to advocate for the creation of “a pathway to citizenship for immigrants … that do not have legal status.” Zuckerberg explains that the chief objective of this group, which drew its name from President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign slogan (“Forward”), is to attract “the most talented and hardest-working people” from around the world.
Toward that end, Zuckerberg favors greatly increasing the number of H-1B visas that are issued to high-tech foreign workers, even though half of all students graduating with “STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) degrees from American colleges are currently unable to find employment in those fields. He also supports an expansion of the Optional Practical Training program that allows foreigners with F-1 student visas to take jobs where employers can: (a) pay them much lower wages than they would be required to pay to U.S. workers, and (b) avoid paying Medicare and Social Security taxes on the foreign workers' behalf.
In other words, Big Guy Zuckerberg wants to be able to hire foreign-born “little guys” for a fraction of what it would cost him to hire Americans. But hey, how's a $50 billion Whiz Kid supposed to stay so gloriously wealthy if he can't skunk a few homegrown patsies along the way?
In June 2015, Zuckerberg donated $5 million to TheDream.US, a scholarship fund created entirely for the benefit of illegal aliens to whom the Obama administration's 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program had granted legal status, work permits, access to social services, and protection from deportation. American-born young people, of course, weren't eligible for these scholarships.
America's favorite Whiz Kid is also a stalwart champion of “little guys” who happen to be Muslims, as he demonstrated in September 2015 when his company joined forces with the German government and a German Internet watchdog group to monitor what Facebook called “racist and xenophobic comments” that visitors were posting to the site. At the time, many Germans objected to the fact that vast numbers of “refugees” were migrating to their country from terrorism-infested regions of the Islamic world. Later that month, Zuckerberg reassuredGerman Chancellor Angela Merkel that he was giving the matter all the attention it deserved.
After two Islamic terrorists murdered fourteen Americans at a Christmas party in San Bernardino, California on December 2 of last year—just three weeks after jihadists had killed 130 innocents in Paris—Zuckerberg worriedopenly that … wait for it … wait for it … Muslims in the West might in turn be victimized by bigoted people of other faiths. “I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world,” he wrote. “After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others.... If you're a Muslim in this Facebook] community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you.”
In stark contrast, it seems that “little guys” who happen to be Israeli Jews don't matter very much to the $50 Billion Whiz Kid. Consider, for instance, his reaction last fall when bulletins posted on Facebook were helping to fuel a sudden spate of Palestinian violence (stabbings, shootings, and vehicular attacks) against Jews in Israel. When the Israeli Foreign Ministry asked Zuckerberg and his company to remove any posts that aimed to incite anti-Jewish aggression, they replied that they were not responsible for such content and had no way of monitoring it effectively. The head of the nonprofit legal organization Shurat HaDin (Israel Law Center), which subsequently filed a lawsuit against Facebook “on behalf of some 20,000 Israelis,” accused Zuckerberg's site of “fanning the flames of the current Palestinian intifada” by “its refusals to actively monitor and block the incitement to violence.”
It is notable that while Facebook's $50 Billion Man is eager to infuse neighborhoods all over the Western world with welfare-dependent immigrants and Islamic refugees from ISIS strongholds in the Middle East, on a personal level he prefers to keep a comfortable buffer zone between himself and the smelly, unwashed masses. Thus did our Champion of “the little guy” once spend $30 million to purchase four homes that were situated on properties surrounding his own, in order to carve out “a little more privacy” for his own tender sensibilities.
