    Contacting out-of-state Senators

I've called and left messages before with Senators not from my State. Is there a tip on how to contact them and what to say? I feel they will largely ignore what I say if they are not my Senator or even be miffed that I am calling them.

This may have been answered elsewhere, but I haven't found it in a quick search.

Tell them you have always voted Dem/Rep and have supported them financially for years, but you never will again if they vote "yes" on cloture for this treasonous, secret amnesty legislation! Works for me everytime!!!

    Thanks!

I tried 5 Senators and only got through to one. Never thought I would say this, but I called Obama's office. If he has political aspirations he needs to know how unpopular this bill is and how it is a war on the middle class.

FWIW - I got through to Cornyn's office. The staffer said that in its current form he suspects he would oppose the bill. I mentioned several reason why he should do just that.

I have also contacted a few who are opposed with some "atta boys."

Grassley and DeMint - I never even heard of these guys. Couldn't get through to Sessions.

    Sam,
Do what I do, lie to them about your location. I have a camping/travel guide loaded with addresses. If they ask, I am ready with a city or zip code from their state. If that ask for a name, I tell them I prefer to remain anonymous. I have my phone number blocked so they can't see the area code if they have caller ID. Blocking is free, just call the phone company.
Hey, desperate times require desperate measures. Good luck

I've told Salazar that I would support whoever campaigned against him or anyone he supports.
