I just got off the phone with Sen. Graham's office, April.

Let's fill Graham's mailbox up folks. It's my hope we don't leave one mailbox unfilled during this weekend! Remember, some mailboxes will be emptied during the day - please call again after about 6 hours if possible.

    TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!!

    Reaction to Senate bill fierce

Fragile immigration compromise faces calls for extensive changes
    DAVE MONTGOMERY AND BARBARA BARRETT
    McClatchy Newspapers

    May 19, 2007

WASHINGTON --The architects of a far-reaching immigration bill sought to fend off attacks from across the political spectrum Friday as they prepared to guide the measure through a do-or-die showdown in the Senate next week.

Capitol Hill was besieged with calls from interest groups, and immigration was clearly Topic A on radio talk shows. Conservatives rallied behind a familiar battle cry, assailing the measure as amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants who broke the law to enter the country.

Phones on Capitol Hill were ringing so fiercely Friday that young staffers were handling several calls a minute, putting constituents on hold to handle others and repeating the same phrases: "Yes, sir. ...Yes, sir. ...We'll pass on your comments."

I have gone through the list twice and emailed and faxed lots. There are still some mail boxes not full, but I am sure if we stay on it they soon all will be. Lindsey graham must have a huge capacity because it is still not full yet. Great job everyone and keep on keeping on!!

Listen folks, we are not flooding the local offices of these Senators with phone calls. I got through to all of Larry Craig's local offices immediately.

We certainly can't let up now!!!! Let's go:

    Quick update.

    back on the blitzing here.

I have not been able to leave messages for any of my local representatives because all the mailboxes are full.

I have left messages for Graham and Martinez (at the very end, I reminded them that we voted them into office and if they continue their support for this, we WILL vote them out).

No problem getting through (it is Sunday), but a lot of message boxes are full.

    Keep it up!

I just ran into a problem though. My FAX machine broke (I kid you not).
I have done all the faxes I can with numbersusa.com

    how else can I FAX?

    Thanks.

Just emailed over 5000 people on this.

Left a voicemail for Lindsey Graham (a good one).

Leaving more voicemails as I can, but a lot of boxes are now full.

    Anybody else have updates?

Do we have any updates from William?
