A reality check on US border "security"
    Don't try this at home

The border is 3,000+ miles, mostly like this
Reality check, though I hate to bring it up because it just gives drone manufacturers a sales argument.

I think the answer to the question raised at the end of the video is pretty simple.

Millions and millions of people would like to enter the US from Mexico and Central American countries like Guatemala and Honduras where populations are large and opportunities are nearly non-existant.

A reality check on the security of the
    US/Canadian border.

The only people subject to official
    harassment are law abiding citizens
with all their documents in order.

    Everyone else just walks across.

    That's how we grow. Thanks.

The better question is why aren't our borders more secure North and South... East and West!!!!!

There is one tensey problem with these videos: THERE ARE NO MASSIVE WAVES OF CANADIANS SNEAKING ILLEGALLY ACROSS OUR NORTHERN BORDER. It is folly to equate the two borders as the one video does by showing a contrast between the Mexican border and the Canadian border. The video of the Mexican border is inaccurate because it selectively shows only those areas that are fenced and ignores massive areas where there is no fencing or no significant obstacles to trespassing. Viewers of the tape get a false impression that the Southern border is totally fenced.

I am sorry, but it is my suspicion (have no proof) that these videos originated with some open borders group trying to confuse the issue. The open borders people would like nothing better than have us diluting our money and resources trying to EQUEALLY secure both borders, even though the problem is only with one border. There are many advantages for the open borders advocates to do that; firstly they are sure to scream it is racially motivated to only secure the Southern border, and that alone would silence many people who might demand border security. Also it would double the cost of bordersecurity and reinforce their arguments that it would be prohibitively expensive.

When there are massive waves of illegal aliens running crossing our Northern border then, of course, we should take greater measures to secure it. The obvious reason why there are no great waves of Canadians illegally crossing our border (other thanthe fact there are not very many of them – 35 million) is because Canada has a pretty high standard of living. Mexico alone has a population of 121 million.

There is little evidence of terrorists entering through Canada; rather it seems overwhelmingly they come into the US by crossing the Southern border. I would guess because they purchase assistance from the Mexican drug cartels probably by supplying them with quality opium from North Africa.

LET US NOT BE DISTRACTED FROM A CURRENT CRTISIS ON OUR SOUTHERN BORDER AND START CHASING AFTER A NON EXISTENT PROBLEM BECAUSE MAYBE, SOME DAY, IT COULD HAPPEN ON OUR NORTHERN BORDER.
