Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Special Agent John Dodson blew the whistle on the Department of Justice (DOJ) ill-fated “Fast and Furious” operation in an interview with me in 2011. Dodson explained that the U.S. government had been instructing federal agents like him to encourage gun dealers to sell thousands of assault rifles and other weapons to traffickers for Mexican drug cartels.

Now, Dodson’s story–which he put on paper in his book “The Unarmed Truth” has been picked up to be adapted as a film on the big-screen by Lionsgate.

Beyond Fast and Furious, similar “gunwalking” cases by the government were reported in numerous cities: Phoenix, Tucson and Houston to name a few.

Fast and Furious stories

“Walked” guns were used by illegal Mexican bandits in an Arizona shootout that killed Border Patrol agent Brian Terry. Other walked guns were used by drug cartel members in Mexico who ambushed ICE agents, murdering one of them. Countless other Mexicans were killed with the U.S. government-walked guns. To this day, the federal government refuses to provide a full accounting of crime scenes in the U.S. and Mexico in which the Fast and Furious weapons have turned up.

Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered in 2010 by illegal aliens armed with weapons sold by ATF Fast and Furious suspects.

The first and only time President Obama used executive privilege to withhold documents was in the Fast and Furious case. Tens of thousands of pages are still being kept secret.
