    Building Our NETWORK

    Hi All:

Did you know that a new blog is started EVERY SECOND? Did you know the other side used MYSPACE as a way of spreading their word like wild fire when they organized their marches earlier this year?

With a personal BLOG dedicated over to news, or specifically to news on the Illegal Alien issue, you give yourself, and our movement another tool of OUT REACH. I just posted the announcement of the March in Washington on two of my own blogs, and in less than five minutes had 53 hits on these two blogs.

Further, if I know of others who have similiar blogs on the same network, I can list them as friends, we can even form a BLOG RING and cross link to each others sites, we can post messages from this site with a link back to ALIPAC.

I am putting two links to my own blogs here, and after viewing them, I hope you'll consider starting one of your own, and messaging me privately so I can add your blog to my friends link on these sites.

    Pinto Bean

Just another thought...I just read William's post on Rating AlIPAC's work so far, and it has been superb.

I saw in that post, that we are over 6,000 members strong. Now, imagine of we all had a blog, and on that blog we put up say two articles found here on ALIPAC, and linked back to this site....that's 12,000 link backs to ALIPAC each and every day! That's 360,000 links back to this site each and every month of the year!

The key to our success, the key to ALIPAC effecting change, and shaping this debate is TRAFFIC, of which we have lots of, but we could have even more traffic! Every new person who clicks on a link that leads to ALIPAC could be another foot soldier in this fight for America.

So please, if you do not have a BLOG, start one.

I know exactly what you mean. This is something i've tried to figure out; how can we make those unaware of the issue, aware!

I have no doubt that if we can spread the word, THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of more people would step up on this issue.

    Great stuff pinto bean.

Maybe we could post links to those who don't know how to blog and sites that allow it for free?

www.myspace.com is very easy to do. It is also free!!

    Lets do this!

Bravenet has FREE blogs, and easy to USE. It takes about ten minutes to set it all up, then you log in, go to your blog and create posts.

    Another one is www.iblogs.com

We could really use these individual blogs to build a serious Anti Immigration FORCE on the world wide web as we started linking up together.

We have over 6,000 members....that is some serious power if employed right.....look at it this way. Take ONE GOOD MESSAGE on ALIPAC and imagine it going out on SIX THOUSAND SITES, all linked back to ALIPAC!

I am averaging about 175 visitors (unique visitors) a day on my one blog, so do the math if we had that happening on 6000 blogs!

I know. It is all about uniting us all for a common goal. We could literally add thousands of members to our site each month. Think of the power we would have and what a difference we coudl do!

Please excuse my ignorance of blogs, but say I create a blog. How does one get people to read it, i.e. how do you get, "hits?" Is my blog, that no one reads but me, going to help ALIPAC if I put a link to ALIPAC's website on it? There must be more to this that I'm not getting.

    OK...will explain this....simply.

Crawlers go around the web collecting data, including your little old blog that you think no one needs. They see a link that link back to ALIPAC...that links goes into ascertaining their SCORE when it comes to placement when people doing a search.

Further, do not kid yourself...build it, and they will come...maybe only a few a day, maybe more, but all those visits ADD UP. Most places that have blogs have a section that tells people which blogs were most recently UPDATED...a lot of bloggers will give those blogs a QUICK peek.
    Again, it all adds up.

My PorgieTirebiter blog (see link above) is officially 2 weeks old. In that time, just posting STUFF, I have built a nice steady traffic to the site. I myself probably peek in on 100 sites a day....reason for this....those people will come peek at mine, and some will like my site and visit it regularly.

Okay, PintoBean, I gave it a shot. Don't laugh, 'cuz I'm a newbie at the blog thing.

It was easy to set up, I'm just not all that creative at what to put on it, but if I could help our cause by doing it, I'm all for it.

Okay, you're talking to the dummy of all time here when it comes to blogs. I'm a bean counter for pete's sake, not a computer guru.

Pinto & Patbrunz, you guys did a great job. Guess I'll just read what you've done for starters. Maybe that will give me enough courage to try to set one up.
