    Boycott The May 1st Boycott!

    Here's a thought about May 1st:
anyone planning purchases large or small, might want to delay that until May 1st. I'm waiting until that day to spend my hard earned dollars for groceries and gas. In fact, I think there is some gift shopping for the future that could be done that day.

If as many of us as possible could delay any spending until May 1st, maybe we could even give a little surge to the numbers for that day.

I like this idea.....I've got a large landscaping job I am doing, so will see if I can push it back and buy most of the plant stock that day.

I had already planned to do extensive shopping on May 1...I haven't bought any clothes or shoes for summer as of yet...been putting it off since I heard about their 'boycotts'...

Wonder if the day laborers will be observing the boycott, too? If so, I could go to some local shopping areas without fear of harassment.

Its a really good idea. I have no doubts that so many workers not working on that day will cause some slow down. But we can hinder that a lot if we wait. Arg! It still makes me mad to think that they'll want to go back to work after may 1st!

yeah don't buy anything until May 1st... like that would make a difference... for all those out there that do not know it, theres a lot of us joining on this Boycott May 1st, and i don't think you realize how big of an impact it will be... it will be history and i can assure that. Immigrants have awaken and they are not gonna step back on this movement. FOR THOSE THAT SAY: GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY????? This is america a free country it doesnt belong to any one, those that think otherwise can find their way out of here!!!!! unless you are 100% native american which most people are not you came to america also...

anyways... good try to those that are leaving all their expenses until May 1st...

    Immigrants have awaken...deal with it.

Well, that wouldn't be anyone on this board.

Thanks for showing your true colors on the streets of our cities. It makes us real inclined to support you. Deal with it.

    And thanks for the bump.

    Carina04,

If you don't mind my asking, what do you hope to accomplish with this 'boycott'? I really don't think it's going to mean much when it's all said and done, myself. It will allow REAL citizens the opportunity to find out which employers are selling out America's jobs to the lowest bidder, but other than that I don't see much happening.

Why do you? Is there something planned that we don't know about yet?
