"Bombshell from a top border agent: Just 6% of illegal aliens in one sector even claim asylum."
That claim seems to come from one small blog.
I can't find anything that supports this claim.

Fox news video at 4 minute mark Carl Landrum, deputy chief patrol agent of the Yuma Sector

Thank you so much for posting that whole video. The issue there is capacity for family units who can't be held for more than 20 days, whether they're requesting asylum or not. They only have detention capacity for 410 people for 12 hours each and they are getting 300 a day with nowhere to send them. This is an example in the Yuma sector of catch and release of just plain ole illegal aliens, not so much the asylum issue. We need to change the laws so BP can boot all these illegal border crossers of all ages right back out of the country into Mexico upon detection.
There are at least 70 Congressional actions that need to be taken to fix our immigration system, both legal and illegal. Fixing the aslyum laws only fixes those laws, there's still catch and release to fix, as well as the UAC insanity to fix. Three separate issues, 3 separate laws, out of 70 that need to be changed.
They really don't care if it is exposed. They know so many people are in denial about what is happening, they can do anything they want. They even tell us what they are doing---example Nikki Haley video and many still deny it. They know they can do anything they want because the majority either approves or defends the Master Con Artist.
When groups of 100 have to wait 20 minutes just for a UBER driver, does anyone believe that 4,000 a day are even being processed?
Listen at the 2 minute mark where he says they are designed to hold 410 single male adults and are getting 300 a day, so must get them out in 12 hours. I assume that is to make room for more.
Now, do you think they are doing adequate background checks on all these people.
Where is a report about anyone being deported. Where is the video of that. Where is the officials bragging about we deported X number this month? Crickets.
Acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan told a Senate panel on Thursday that all illegal border crossers are currently being released from custody and most receive work permits within a month or two.
