How many people in Texas receive Social Security payments?
How soon will most of them be homeless when U.S. Social Security stops sending them payments?
Where will the people on medicare get health care when the U.S. Medicare isn't there to pay their doctors and hospitals?
When you destroy the country, on purpose, we loose EVERYTHING.NO AMNESTY

Texas Gov. Rick Perry does not support a petition for the Lone Star State to secede from the union. But a lot of people do. The online petition asking the federal government to allow Texas to withdraw from the U.S. following President Barack Obama's reelection has nearly 100,000 signatures. It appears on a section of a White House website called “We The People" and cites economic difficulties due to the federal government's inability to cut spending. Supporters suggest that secession would protect Texans' standard of living and "re-secure their rights and liberties."Join our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & to secure US borders by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

11-15-2012, 09:22 PM #59. . . The petitions are meaningless:
The petitions are little more than symbolic—and nothing new.
Similar petitions were filed after the 2004 and 2008 elections.
Libertarian website Lew Rockwell argues in a piece by Ryan McMaken that nothing will come of the current secession attempts, but that the principle is important...NO AMNESTY

We only need to get rid of ONE State. The District of Columbia. The other 50 should remain.
Petition needs 80 more signatures to put it on the public list so people visiting the petition site will be able to see it.
Peacefully withdraw the District of Colombia from the Union to allow the Several States to live in Peace and Prosperity.
