Thread: Happy to live in Arizona.

When I found out that Arizona has the toughest illegal immigrant laws in the country I was very proud. I know that there are many people who feel that there is something wrong and are planning on having assorted boycotts because of these laws that we have Arizona. Arizona has had the laws son the books for a while but nobody seemed to want to give the laws the teeth so that illegal immigrants could be found not just in the dessert but also in the city. They are finding more and more safe houses. On "Border Wars" they found a house that had 72 illegal immigrants in a small two bedroom house with only one bathroom. The issues of illegal immigration is so broad and so complex it is impossible to explain in this kind of forum. Things have changed over the years and with the drug cartels they don't just traffic in drugs they also consider human beings as cargo. So many guides will just leave the cargo in the middle of the dessert so they can die of exposure anddehydration. It is a horrible way to die. Then there is the ranches that get in the way between the Mexican boarder and where they want to go. The ranchers see their water sources polluted and their cattle killed. You can see evidence of the traffic of drugs and illegal immigrants everywhere. The dessert is one big trash dump. In just looking at what the dessert looks like the same thing is happening in the country. There is only so many resources available for so many people. If this country was a boat it would have sunk long ago. I believe it is important that we get a handle on how many illegal immigrants enter this country.and the way to do it needs to come in the form of laws. I think it odd that people who are restrained and are forced to go back to their country of origins are allowed to do so as voluntary. I believe every time someone comes is caught entering the country illegally should suffer the consequences. If you are caught once you have to wait five years before you can enter legally. The second offense would be 10 years. Maybe the years can be less but there must be something done so it gives them pause to think. I would like to know where the money comes from. If I had to save three thousand dollars it might as well be a million dollars. I remember I saved up three hundred dollars by not eating very much and not buying very much. It took me a long time. We need to put the teeth in catching illegal immigrants who live in this country just like they were born here. The kind of illegal immigrants who steal identification from American citizens. Although there are many who take jobs some Americans would not do we have no way of knowing if Americans would take these jobs. It is not as if they answered an add in the newspaper, looking for people to pick onions. These illegal immigrants get jobs from guides and other resources. There are no ads that look for people to pick crops. There are jobs that are worse than picking crops like working in a slaughter house. But some who already have family here are hired in much more pleasant surroundings. Especially with all the identity theft there is no real way of judging where illegal immigrants are working today. It is time that we reclaim our borders and all the problems that stream from all the illegal immigrants in our country. If people knew how much the country pays in dollars and sense and ways that you would never even think of people may think differently. I think it is time for Americans to think it over.
