    ACLU HYPOCRISY?????

I just wondered if any of you saw "Heartland" with John Kasich last night on Fox? He interviewed Mr. Clifford Alford who was a FORMER board member of the New Mexico ACLU. The ALCU has shut down their New Mexico office because they found out that Mr. Alford was a member of the New Mexico Minitemen Project. Mr. Alford said that the ACLU was being very hypocritical because they are not practicing what they preach concerning First Amendment rights.

The ACLU also stated that they would not support racism and vigilanteism even though the Minutemen were giving humanitarian aid to these illegals. Mr. Alford said they gave the illegals food, water and medicine before reporting them to the Border Patrol.

Doesn't this just sound typical of the ACLU? I wonder when they changed from being an advocate for First Amendment rights to being so far to the left that they are about to fall off the WORLD????

"about to fall off the WORLD"

I think the ACLU fell off the USA into Mexico about 35 years ago. They are a part of the Open Borders Lobby. Their agenda is to provide "legal aid" to the foreign alien invasion. They are not an advocate of Citizen Rights, they are an advocate of the Foreign Invasion and the Dissolution of the United States.

The ACLU is the Enemy. They are also a 501 C 3 "public charity" and because of the advocacy and legal representation afforded foreign nationals are no longer qualified to carry the name AMERICAN in their name. They are anti-American; they are anti-USA; and are very dangerous.

The ACLU interprests the First Amendment as a protection of pedophiles and represents them routinely after they have raped, molested, and then murdered children. They stated they were not supporting pedophilia and condemn it, but even convicted pedophiles have First Amendment Rights.

Well, yes that is true, now isn't it. So, they can go hire a lawyer at their own expense and pay to protect their First Amendment Rights like everybody else.

You might want to look into the ACLU and find out more about who is the Executive Director of the ACLU.

    Anthony D. Romero, Executive Director

Anthony D. Romero took the helm of the American Civil Liberties Union in September 2001, a week before the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The air in lower Manhattan, where the nation's preeminent civil-liberties organization is headquartered, was still thick with smoke when the administration began pressuring Congress to remove checks and balances on law-enforcement.

It was not the first time that Americans were asked to trade away freedoms for increased security, and it would not be the last-but the ACLU stood its ground under Romero's leadership, steadfastly maintaining that it is possible to be both safe and free.

Romero, an attorney with a history of public-interest activism, also presided over the most successful membership drive in the ACLU's 82-year history. In his first year, 75,000 individuals became card-carrying members of the organization for the first time.

He is the ACLU's sixth executive director, and he is the first Latino and openly gay man to serve in that capacity. He came to the organization from the Ford Foundation's Human Rights and International Cooperation Program, which he led through a period of extraordinary growth, transforming it into Ford's largest and most dynamic grant-making unit. As director of that program, he channeled approximately $90 million in grants to civil-rights, human rights and peace projects in 2000, and launched groundbreaking initiatives in affirmative action, voting rights and redistricting, immigrants' rights, women's rights, reproductive freedom and lesbian/gay rights.

Romero also served for nearly five years as a Ford Foundation Program Officer for Civil Rights and Racial Justice; and for two years at the Rockefeller Foundation, where he led a foundation review that helped to determine future directions in civil-rights advocacy.

Born in New York City to immigrant parents from Puerto Rico, Romero was the first in his family to graduate from high school. A graduate of Stanford University Law School and Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs, he was a Dinkelspiel Scholar at Stanford, a Cane Scholar at Princeton, and a National Hispanic Scholar at both institutions.

He sits on several not-for-profit boards and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

    American Civil Liberties Union

    Excerpt:

The ACLU withdrew from a Federal Donation Program that provides matching funds from the federal government for federal employees. The requirement was that ACLU employees must be checked against a federal anti-terrorism watch list. The ACLU estimates that it will lose approximately $500,000 in such contributions. Controversial defense stances

The organization believes that free speech rights must be available to all citizens of the United States. Therefore, it has taken on extremely controversial cases to defend the free speech rights of unpopular clients such as Ku Klux Klan members, neo-Nazi groups, and NAMBLA, a group which supports legalization of pedophilia.

The ACLU has defended Frank Snepp formerly of the Central Intelligence Agency (from an attempt of this government agency to gag him) and Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North (convicted on the basis of coerced testimonyâ€â€

Bill O'Reilly is EXACTLY right about the ACLU. I remember I went to some website because the only cause I had ever heard of that they represented was the medical marijuana issue. So, I went to the site and signed a letter to my representatives and, boy, for MONTHS I was SLAMMED with far-off-in-left-field emails from every Tom, Dick and Harry! I thought I would NEVER get my name off of all the email lists!

The man's name who heads the ACLU explains it all!

THE ACLU IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF 'LAWYERS GONE BAD'!
I wonder how many illegals got their NC driver licenses renewed last week? President Bush needs to protect the borders not illegals. President Bush is a coward and guilty of treason when it comes to securing the borders.
