What is happening here in Idaho is happening all across this nation, these Mexican consulates are undermining American Law and aiding and abetting illegal activity, they are setting up office's and installing lawyers to fight and keep the American people from getting their laws enforced.....

The citizens of Idaho demand to have their voices heard against the placement of the Mexican Consulate in the great state of Idaho!!!

The citizens of Idaho have been denied any input into or chance to object to the decision to locate a Mexican Consulate in Idaho. There has been a total black out on news of the Consulate, even the intention to locate one in Idaho. Why the secrecy? Who in the U.S. government that represents Idaho (mention Senator Mike Crapo) and who in the Idaho State Government (mention Governor Butch Otter) is responsible for this deception??? The people of Idaho will be the ones paying the price for it and we deserve an explanation and demand to be heard! This is an outrage!!!

Has Idaho become a banana republic dictatorship??? Obviously representative government has been thrown out of the window!

10,000 people signed a petition, under the direction of activists associated with the Mexican government http://lonewacko.com/blog/archives/007500.html , to demand that the U.S. State Department locate a Mexican Consulate in southern Idaho. Are the signatories legal or illegal? Demand to have the signatures examined. Why would the state of Idaho and the U.S. State Department be responding to the demands of non-citizens? If the citizens of Idaho were offered a petition to sign in opposition to the Mexican Consulate, there would have been tens of thousands of signatures!

The legal citizens of Idaho must be allowed to voice their concerns, make the final decision on locating the Consulate in Idaho and be heard above any illegal immigrant or activists tied to the Mexican government. Has this been forgotten, or just ignored???

Mexican Consulates are magnets for further illegal immigration.
The risk inherent in having a Mexican Consulate in Idaho cannot be exaggerated. Our illegal alien population is about to increase in number overnight, as will the drain on our taxpayer dollars to support this population with health care, schooling, etc..., the increase in crime, and drug related violence and the need for taxpayer funded infra-structure support for schools, roads, etc...

The main function of the Mexican Consulate is to give out Matricular Cards, documentation that can give illegal aliens a form of 'defacto' amnesty. The cards are passed out by the Mexican government, without background checks, and permit the illegal alien to have the same benefits as legal immigrants. Access to bank accounts, establishing credit, access to welfare, heath care and other taxpayer-funded benefits can be obtained with the Matricular card. The benefits will drain the citizens of Idaho of their tax dollars. How dare the state allow the citizens of Idaho to be taxed without representation?

Idaho will become a 'sanctuary state' for illegal aliens, fleeing from states passing strict enforcement laws, and the citizens of Idaho will pay the price in crime, gang violence and tax dollars. Yet, the citizens of Idaho have been given no choice in the location of the Mexican Consulate on Idaho state soil!

In the United States House of Representatives, each Representative serves approximately 693,000 residents as of 2007. So how can the Mexican government justify an entire Mexican Consulate for less than an estimated 100,000 Mexican residents living in Idaho?

It is obvious he is trying to distance himself from the Consulate issue now that the damage has been done. This cannot be allowed. Call, email or fax his office first and demand to know when he knew and why he kept the Consulate secret from the people of Idaho that he supposedly represents. Express profound disappointment at his actions in arranging the deal to put the Mexican Consulate in Idaho. Tell him that he will pay the price when his re-election time comes around. (This may make Crapo come out against it, hopefully!)

The state senator I have been talking to about this is Sen. Russell Fulcher. He seemed pretty concerned about it too. Though he did not say it, I could sense he was against it. Last Friday, he told me that he was going to meet with US Rep Sali about this the coming Tuesday, which was Feb. 19. I guess this was the result of the meeting. Glad to know Rep Sali is on our side too! US Rep Simpson is also on our side.

I did not know about this signature campaign. Dang! that pisses me off.

The mere fact that Mexico wants to open a consulate here means only one thing: IDAHO HAS BEEN INVADED.

I don't know what Fulcher and Sali and Simpson are planning to do. I will email Fulcher and then report here.

Wanna freak out more? Mexico wants to put up another consulate in......(drumroll please).......ALASKA!!! Alaska! Why Alaska?? Has Alaska also been invaded?? Arrghhhh --- they are everywhere!!!!!!!

I am so pleased that Representative Sali is going to work against the Mexican Consulate in Boise. I think we still have time to stop it. I don't know whose signatures were on the petition, but I would turn it over to I.C.E. because I don't think many are Idaho residents and they are probably illegally in residence!

Mexican consulates are magnets for massive illegal immigration and are only located in areas where large numbers of illegal aliens reside. Little Rock, Arkansas, where the latest Consulate was placed, now has the largest illegal alien population of any state. The Mexican Consulates are being allowed to hand out, without background checks, Matricula cards, a form of defacto amnesty. Against U.S. law, but ignored by our state department, they give illegal aliens the same rights as legal immigrants: access to welfare, healthcare and other taxpayer funded benefits. They are used to open bank accounts and establish credit. President Calderon has also issued a "zero tolerance policy" to Mexican Consulates. This gives Mexican lawyers in the Consulates the right to challenge the enforcement of American law in our courts! I don't think anyone needs to be reminded of the crime against American citizens this population brings to an area, including ID theft, rapes, murders, gangs, robberies, etc. all of which, sadly, need not occur if U.S. immigration laws were enforced and these criminals were not allowed. A Mexican Consulate will only invite further illegal alien miscreants into Idaho as well. My daughter resides in Boise and I am concerned for her safety.

Now that other states are successfully passing strict enforcement laws and illegal aliens are self-deporting, Idaho will become a sanctuary state for those looking to, once again, receive taxpayer benefits. Idaho residents will be supplying the taxpayer dollars that are going to be needed to subsidize this low-skilled population and the criminal activity it will bring to Idaho.

The citizens of Idaho deserve the right to voice their concerns. Thus far, the project has been handled stealthily behind the scenes and I'm sure that is because the ones' who have brought this upon Idaho, know how residents will feel.

Sali, I am a walking textbook on this issue and I wanted you to see some of the links I have used for my information. Representative Sali may be able to use them to back up any arguments others may posit. I understand he is having a meeting on the Consulate on Tuesday. We are so excited that he taking up this cause!

I don't live in Idaho, but I'll make phone calls Sosad. It does seem that the Mexican govt wants all these consulates to aid illegal activity, promote amnesty and get involved in our domestic politics.
