The 'Lion of London Bridge' who was hailed a hero for fighting off knife-wielding jihadis during the terror attack said he is on an anti-terror watch list after being contacted by far-right anti-Islam supporters.
Roy Larner, 49, screamed, 'f*** you, I'm Millwall,' as he took on the knife murderers when they struck in June 2017 while he was enjoying a pint in the Black & Blue restaurant in Borough Market, in Southwark, south-east London.
But Mr Larner has since been placed on the Government's Prevent programme over fears that he could become an extremist after he was contacted by far-right yobs.

Mr Larner said: 'They treat me like a terrorist but I’m not political at all.
The 49-year-old required surgery after being slashed multiple times in the head and neck by Rachid Redouane and Yousseff Zaghba, who - along with third terrorist Khuram Butt - ended up killing eight and injuring 38 others.

He was released from hospital 12 days after the attack which left him with more than 80 stitches to his head, ear, arms and hands.
While in hospital, he was pictured propping himself up in bed with a 'learn to run' manual his friends had given him - which they said displayed 'our south-east London sense of humour'.
Mr Larner said one of the attackers had shouted, 'This is for Allah,' and 'Islam, Islam, Islam,' when they struck.
Even after being repeatedly stabbed and falling to the floor, CCTV footage showed Mr Larner raising his fists in defence.

The Millwall fan was a hailed a hero after the attacks, with some even calling for him to be George Cross, the highest civilian award for gallantry.
However, in July 2017, footage from February of that year emerged of him spitting on a black photographer and ranting about 'foreign c****s who 'stink like s***t'.
He escaped jail after being handed a suspended sentence and a £50 fine.
Later, in September 2018, he was charged after being found with the powerful and potentially deadly painkiller fentanyl - the drug linked to the death of popstar Prince.

Prevent: £40million-a-year scheme that failed to stop Parsons Green Tube bomber

Prevent, which was introduced in 2011, has an annual budget of about £40 million and aims to stop people being drawn into terrorism.
Extremism is defined by Prevent as, ‘vocal or active opposition to fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs. We also include in our definition of extremism calls for the death of members of the armed forces.’
Public bodies including councils and schools are required by the 2015 Counter-Terrorism Act to have ‘due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism.’

Anyone concerned that someone they know is at risk of radicalisation can refer them to Prevent, but only a small percentage of cases are deemed to require anti-extremism action.
When authorities conclude there is a risk the person could be drawn into terrorism, the case will move to what is known as the Channel programme. A panel of support workers including police and local authority staff then assess what support a person needs.
Prevent has come under renewed scrutiny recently after it emerged that Parsons Green Tube bomber Ahmed Hassan was referred to the scheme.
Police said he duped support workers by 'appearing to engage with the programme' when all the time he was plotting to cause carnage.
Staff from various agencies met him several times between February 2016 and September 2017, and he received 'extensive support' in mental health and education, but was not deterred from his murderous plans.

Is there nothing Rep. Ilhan Omar won't do to make terrorists' lives easier? This latest scheme she's up to, according to CNS, is a doozy:

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and ten other House Democrats have written to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, requesting information about how information from the FBI-administered terrorist watchlist is shared with foreign governments — including governments with poor human rights records.
In doing so, she pointed to the support of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a sometimes controversial group that has mounted legal challenges against the watchlist, formally known as the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB).
In a release Friday about the letter to Pompeo, Omar quoted CAIR national Executive Director Nihad Awad, who said the TSDB was "dangerous enough" in itself, but even more so when shared with "tyrannical regimes."

Now, bear in mind that many of the world's most tyrannical places — think of places such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines — have been made that way by repeated terrorist attacks. Lawlessness and terrorist thuggery can often turn what were rising democracies into hunkered down military regimes.So what we are seeing here is a bid from her to game the system — to use the inevitable human rights violations that occur as states try to avoid disintegration — as leverage to keep them in the dark about the actual terrorists plotting against them. Advantage: terrorists, who are no doubt celebrating having such a lobbyist working for them on the Hill. Human rights are great for terrorists — and never mind about the victims of terrorists.
Left unsaid most of all is that the U.S. isn't giving innocent people's names to these regimes, let alone the names of actual Americans — it's giving committed global foreign terrorists' names in what may be an imperfect but necessary bid to enable these places to fight the terrorists trying to kill them.
Omar wants these foreigners protected.
It jibes with her other shenanigans so very helpful to the terrorist-American community, such as asking for lighter sentences for the "Minnesota Men" so abundant in her district, who've opted to join ISIS and are in the dock for being caught.

The 9 Minnesota men charged with planning to join ISIS are scheduled to be sentenced next week. Ahead of those court dates, 13 letters were sent to Judge Michael Davis in the case of defendant Abdirahman Yasin Daud, including a letter from state Rep. Ilhan Omar, who on Election Night became with first elected Somali-American lawmaker in the nation.
Rep. Omar asked Judge Davis for "compassion" and a "restorative approach to justice," concluding that "this ruling can set a precedent and has the potential to be a landmark case in addressing extremism."

Nothing like letting that bunch off scot-free.
Obviously, she's becoming quite handy for CAIR and all the other terrorist-first activists out there. She's not even embarrassed by the idea of being tarred by the terrorist connection, despite coming from terrorist-infested Somalia and a congressional district famous for its terrorist recruits. If anyone brought up that creepy cozy connection, she'd protect herself from criticism by yelling "racist." She also has a history of Jew-hatred, same as the terrorists. She actually seems to like the whole role of terrorist-defender. And with more concern about terrorists' "rights" than the acts of "some people did something," it's pretty obvious she's rapidly becoming the terrorist's best friend in Congress.
Why, again, is this person on the Democrat-led House Foreign Affairs Committee?

49-year-old Roy Larner screamed “f*** you, I’m Millwall” as he defended himself against jihadists who ended up killing 8 people and injuring 38 others during the horrific attack in London two years ago.
The attack left Larner with more than 80 stitches to his head, ear, arms and hands after two of the terrorists slashed at his head and neck.
Following the attack, Larner revealed that the terrorists had shouted, “This is for Allah” and “Islam, Islam, Islam” during the rampage.
Now Larner himself is being treated as a potential terrorist by the UK government.

Because he was allegedly contacted by far-right anti-Islam activists, Larner has been put on the government’s Prevent terror watchlist over fears he might become an extremist.
“They treat me like a terrorist but I’m not political at all,” said Larner, who revealed he has been forced to attend de-radicalization classes and is being monitored by the police.
Despite being hailed as a hero after the attack, with speculation that he could even be given the George Cross, the highest civilian award for gallantry, Larner is now literally being treated as a potential terrorist by his own country.
The United Kingdom is so addled with political correctness, it treats those who fought back against Islamic jihadists as terrorists.

Ilhan Omar Pushes Back on Use of Terrorist Watchlist with Support of CAIR - Tennessee Star

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN-05) recently issued a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting information about the “dissemination of data” from the country’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB), commonly referred to as the terrorist watchlist.
Omar was joined by ten of her congressional colleagues in crafting the letter, including Reps. Tim Ryan (D-OH-13), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA-07), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI-13), and Mark Pocan (D-WI-02).
“In our oversight role as members of Congress, we are entitled to information as to which countries receive this sensitive and classified information about American citizens, many of whom have never been charged, arrested or convicted of a crime,” the letter states, according to a press release from Omar’s office.
“We are also extremely concerned that the federal government is sharing watchlist information with countries with dubious human rights records, including Saudi Arabia and China,” the letter continues. “Giving the same people who violently murdered Jamal Khashoggi access to the watchlist puts lives in danger. We have also received credible reports that Uyghur activists have been added to the watchlist at the behest of the Chinese government. It is unacceptable for U.S. resources to contribute to the brutal repression of political dissidents abroad.”
The letter concludes by requesting that Pompeo comply with a set of seven demands, such as a “list of all countries that receive TSDB data,” a “list of all countries that have successfully petitioned to add individuals to the TSDB,” and information on whether the United States “considers a country’s human rights record in determining whether to share TSDB information.”
In a press release, Nihad Awad, national executive director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), expressed his support for the initiative.
“It is dangerous enough that the federal government keeps a secret watchlist of more than one million people, almost all of whom are Muslim, and treats these Muslims like second class citizens,” said Awad. “The danger, however, increases exponentially when this watchlist is shared with tyrannical regimes all across the world. Congress and the public ought to know which foreign governments receive the watchlist and what has been done to people targeted by a watchlisting system that now spans the globe. CAIR applauds this oversight.”

A UK man who fought back against knife-wielding jihadists in a June 2017 has been placed into a UK state-run “deradicalization” for his patriotic and anti-islamization views.

Roy Larner bravely stood up to three terrorists in the infamous ‘London Bridge’ attack in June 2017, earning the moniker “Lion of London Bridge.” He suffered numerous stabbing and knife wounds, fighting back against the attackers who chanted “Islam, Islam, Islam,” and “This is for Allah.”

Larner was widely lauded as a hero for his actions in the tragedy. Many called for him to be awarded the George Cross, the UK’s highest civilian award for gallantry. But it appears the UK’s government is treating him in a

far different manner-legally prosecuting him for “offensive” speech and mandating his attendance in a series of “deradicalization” classes.“They treat me like a terrorist but I’m not political at all,” the hero has been quoted as saying. In a development that can be only be described as the height of lunacy, Larner apparently was placed into terror watch list programs because of his contacts in the UK’s right wing and nationalist political movements.

Larner is being treated harshly in part because of two past run-ins with the law- one in which he was caught possessing illegal painkillers, and another stemming from a heated interaction over immigration to the UK with a black photographer.

He was spared jail time on account of his heroic actions in the terror attack by a judge, but being placed in a state-run anti-dissident surveillance program isn’t exactly the most preferable alternative.

In the UK, the heroes who fight back with their bare hands against Islamic terrorists are labeled the terrorists themselves by the politically correct and anti-free speech regime governing the island. Meanwhile, Sharia pedophile gangs continue to rape children with impunity.
