If you think the battle over Obamacare, the debt ceiling and the government shutdown was tough – remember, the man who is president repeatedly said he would not negotiate. What do you think he’ll do, and what will happen when the battle of amnesty gets fully under way?

Well, it seems that Barack Obama, now that he won the first battle is set for the second, and this time, so far he’s playing “the nice guy.”

After acknowledging the “reopening” of government, he was quoted as saying, “Let’s start negotiations on immigration.”

Gosh, he sounds so nice – “start negotiations.” Do you believe him?

Then there was Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who spouted a real classic: “I look forward to the next venture, which is making sure we do immigration reform.”

The next “venture”?!?!? He makes it sound like he’s just a nice guy planning a vacation. Do you believe him?

I don’t believe either of those men nor do I believe or trust the people around them who are setting up conservative Republicans – and in fact – the whole country, for the kill. And have no doubt, if those men get what they want under “immigration reform,” it will be the end of this country as we know it and what essentially will be full Obama governance for decades to come.

The most recent Pew Hispanic Center poll showed that 31 percent of illegals vote Democrat; 4 percent vote Republican.

It’s no wonder the GOP is worried and why they’re sitting ducks for Democrats – unless they’re strong enough to resist caving in and stand up for what is best for the country and not for their individual political careers.

There will be a full-court press on every level of influence to force through what’s called “immigration reform” but what is actually a massive plan to legalize all illegals already here, set up a system to allow their relatives access to our country and in essence, eliminate the border and the need for any protection of it.

On top of that, we will increasingly be subjected to street demonstrations and civil disobedience by people claiming to be illegals, who say they’ve “had it!”

Last Thursday night, liberals in the San Francisco area were thrilled by their audacity.

Protesters by the dozens surrounded a bus at the immigration services offices in downtown San Francisco. The bus was said to have illegals on board, on their way to deportation.

The protesters, many claiming to be illegal, say this demonstration is just the beginning of a national push for Congress to deal with immigration reform now.

Their general theme is that deportations break up families and disrupt lives. They want all deportations stopped and illegals to get a pathway to citizenship.

This being San Francisco, police negotiated with the protesters which got them away from the bus and, because the San Francisco is a sanctuary city, no one was arrested and no one was turned over to federal immigration agents.

The feds had no comment, but it’s clear illegals have free reign in the City by the Bay.

Never forget, there are “sanctuary cities” across the country, and California is on the verge of becoming the first sanctuary state.

Illegals pulled the same tactic in Tucson two weeks ago, blocking two buses of illegals being transported to the federal courthouse.

Confrontations with police resulted in at least 15 people arrested and, ultimately, deportation proceedings were canceled.

Things got more violent when a routine traffic stop resulted in the police being threatened by protesters in two locations and using pepper spray in defense.

Ultimately more than 100 officers were taken off regular patrols and sent to deal with the protesters.

It’s a violation of federal law to assault and harass federal agents while they’re carrying out their duties, yet in these cases, and others, the federal government ignores the law. Unfortunately, this emboldens activists, as increased attacks on federal agents attest.

Washington, D.C., also saw its share of such protests with chains and pipes used to tie protesters to the tires of deportation buses, blocking traffic and forcing arrests.

To get an idea of the activists’ mindset, their slogans and statements are bold: “Undocumented and unafraid,” “Cannot wait for Congress to end its political games,” “The people will take power back into their own hands.”

If that’s the case, they’ll be helped by George Soros’ money through his National Immigration Forum, which plans to fly pro-amnesty conservatives to Washington to lobby.

Groups such as the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Roundtable and even Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg are also on that same wavelength: Pressure Congress and target tea-party candidates with plans to financially support their challengers.

The ultimate goal is to put the fear of God into conservative Republicans so they’ll support whatever amnesty bill comes to a vote.

Marisa Franco, of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, complained about what protesters see as the inaction of the Obama administration and said, “If nothing is done, Obama will be known as the deporter in chief.”

We should only be so lucky.
