    Sound Familiar?

Well, I don't think that your quote about:

--"From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs." 1875, the slogan of Karl Marx, co-author of the Communist manifesto --

is quite the same as having a policy that helps the middle class and the poor working people in this country grow stronger through rebuilding our infrastructure and reestablishing our manufacturing base, rather than have the most wealthy 3 percent of families in this country continue to maneuver America's wealth into their hands.

The middle class has to become strong again, and I don't think that has much to do with Karl Marx. My opinion.

I agree and the middle class doe not become strong by taking it away from other who have worked hard and give to others who pay no taxes it all. The middle class becomes strong by being able to start their own businesses without being taxed to death by local, state or federal government. Our small town has people closing their doors because they are taxed to death for inventory. The same tax that Sarah Palin got rid of in her town when she was mayor. Maybe you don't understand, but they are taxed on every shelf, cash register, every thing in the store. It kills small business and kills jobs for those working for them. Socialism has never worked in Germany, Russia or any other country. They are NOT thriving. We thrive when we don't tax the people to death and when people quit asking for a hand out and wanting to be fixed or helped all of the time. Good grief we need real hard times to grow some back bones in the country.

We have spoiled children worried that their cell phone or ipod isn't the right color. They whine if they don't get those $200 dollar pair of sneakers. It's time these kids know what they NEED and not just what the want. The sixties generation has spoiled their children and grandchildren to the point that they think they are ENTITLED to anything and everything. If that EVIL man who owns a business and pays them a salary does well, then they are ENTITLED to his success not just their pay checks.

Yes, there are evil people in business but not the amount that the msm and politicians would like you to think. They USE YOU. It is to their advantage to tell you that you AREN'T BEING TREATED RIGHT and THEY can fix it. NO THEY CAN'T. Everything the government gets their hands on, the make it bad to worse. I'll help those I want to help locally, but don't take my money buy a $300 wrench then tell me you know better than I do about how to REDISTRIBUTE my money.

Wow Gogo that is the best thing I have heard in a long time. That is something I've been saying for awhile now! I remember playing outside most of the time when I was a kid, and I never EXPECTED things that kids today do. They play with their new cell phone or Nintendo for 5 minutes and then declare "I'm Bored" and expect you to to keep buying and buying. Fortunately, my 5 year old knows the value of a dollar. She saves all of her tooth fairy and allowance money.

So where's the incentive for people who work hard to earn their own money ... to continue working hard rather than join the welfare rolls?
The flag flies at half-mast out of grief for the death of my beautiful, formerly-free America. May God have mercy on your souls.

Yes it is the fault of many parents for not teaching children what it takes to buy those phones and Nintendos. As a middle schooler, I had no allowance and had to earn every penny from my parents, like being paid 2cents for all dandelions I could dig from the lawn. I also earned money by babysitting for 50 cents an hour. My dream was to buy a Yorkshire terrier puppy, and just about the time I reached the goal of saving $110 to buy the puppy, one of the neighbors I babysat for gave me a poodle-Maltese mixed puppy for free.
It is also the fault of the school systems demanding that kids use computers for their homework, and that they quit demanding extra credit projects which only cost the parents more money.

I just know it by watching. I have friends who get calls from their grandkids. Grandpa how can I get my hands on $200 quick. What do you need it for? A new m3player. But you have one. Ya, but's black I want a pink one. There's no way to get the money fast. Baby sit, as to help people in your neighborhood, lots of different things. BUT I NEED IT NOW.

I kid you not. He laughed and said "good luck." Good for grandpa. NOW, my first grand baby is due any day. I told our son, "when you give her allowance tell her to give back two dollars and when she whines tell her its taxes." He burst out laughing. I said, get her ready. Then take the two dollars and put it in a college fund for her. My mother-in-law at one time gave her granddaughter a certain amount of money for her birthday. She took her to Toys R US. She said this is all you have I won't add to it. So they went isle by isle. She wrote down items she was interesting in and the price. Then she marked the most important. Finding she could get the most important (or all of them) she then had to make a choice. It worked, she found out money goes fast and it doesn't grow on trees and grandma, even though she loved her, did owe her anything else.

My daughter is 16 and she is working a few day per week as long as her grades are up. I make her put 25% of her take home pay in a savings account and 50% of her pay in another savings account to save for her car insurance and she gets to spend the other 25% as she likes. I want her to learn the value of a dollar and the benefits of saving.
