Budget Amnesty vote expected TODAY! Call and tell your U.S. Representative 'NO AMNESTY in budget reconciliation'!

he House of Representatives is expected to hold a vote today at 12 p.m. ET on its $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation blueprint that allows for the final budget bill to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

We need your urgent phone calls this morning!

If you've already called, THANK YOU, but please call your U.S. Representative again. If you haven't called, but plan on calling, this morning may be your last chance to stop amnesty from being part of the budget reconciliation process.
    Call your Rep at 202-224-3121

The number above will connect you directly to your U.S. Representative's office. When the staffer answers, you can use the following talking points:
Please oppose granting an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens through budget reconciliation!

There should be no discussion of amnesty for illegal aliens until all employers are required to use E-Verify and overall immigration is reduced by ending Chain Migration and the Visa Lottery.

45 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed. Congress should be taking steps to get American workers back to work, not rewarding illegal immigration by granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.
    BUDGET RECONCILIATION PROCESS
Media reports indicate that the House will vote on the Senate-passed $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation blueprint at noon Eastern today. A successful House vote today will officially start the budget reconciliation process that Democrats' are using to pass a number of the Party's legislative priorities, including an amnesty for an estimated 8 million illegal aliens.
Should the House pass the budget blueprint today, the Senate is expected to release a final budget reconciliation bill -- with an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens -- in mid-September.
The budget reconciliation bill will need to pass in both the House and Senate, but by using the budget reconciliation process, Democrats can pass the bill in the Senate without a single Republican vote. Under normal Senate rules, legislation requires 60 votes to pass.
We need to convince just 4 House Democrats and all House Republicans that the final budget reconciliation bill shouldn't include an amnesty for illegal aliens. Please call your U.S. Representative this morning!
    Call your Rep at 202-224-3121

House passes budget reconciliation framework setting up fall amnesty vote

    Dear activists,
Thank you to the thousands of NumbersUSA activists who made a countless number of phone calls to House and Senate offices over the last several weeks!
Unfortunately, we didn't accomplish our goal of keeping a mass amnesty out of the budget reconciliation process, but we did make passage of the budget blueprint a little more difficult for Democratic Leaders and a number of Democrats have publicly expressed concerns over the impending $3.5 trillion budget bill.
Earlier today, the House of Representatives approved the Senate-passed budget reconciliation framework, strictly along party lines, after House Leaders were forced to delay the vote due to resistance from moderate Democrats.
The framework instructs the Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over immigration, to add an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens to the budget reconciliation bill. We expect the final budget bill to be released in mid-September.
Until the bill's details are made public, we won't know exactly how many illegal aliens could be eligible for the amnesty. But pro-amnesty groups have suggested that it could cover up to 8 million illegal aliens, including those who are eligible for the DACA executive amnesty program, have received Temporary Protected Status, have worked illegally in agriculture, or have illegally held an "essential" job.
Thanks again to everyone who made calls and helped fight for the more than 40 million American workers who are either unemployed or underemployed that would be forced to compete for jobs with millions of illegal aliens!
