Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Illegal Immigrants are “More American” Than Immigration Patriots

Giving a response to President Trump’s Oval Office address calling for congressional leaders to fund the construction of a ‘big, beautiful’ wall on the southern border, freshman Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez seemed to assert that illegal migrants seeking to cross the U.S border were more American that the patriots seeking to secure the nation’s borders.

“The women and children on that border that are trying to seek refuge and seek opportunity in the United States of America with nothing but the shirts on their back are acting more American than any person who seeks to keep them out ever will be.”
The claim comes as surprising news to the hundreds of millions of American citizens opposed to illegal immigration. Apparently it isn’t citizenship in the constitutional republic that makes one an American, but rather trying to breach the borders of the United States while only owning one shirt.

Cortez went on to claim that President Donald Trump has a “proven track record of discrimination against anyone who’s non-white,” throughout his life previous to the Presidency.

On the same segment with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Ocasio-Cortez also objected to the funding of Immigration and Customs Enforcement during the government shutdown-despite voting to fund the agency in an earlier congressional vote.

Conservatives and patriots should genuinely consider opposing Ocasio-Cortez on the basis of these sorts of twisted statements- ascribing American nationality to illegal immigration itself- rather than being distracted by dancing videos and high school nicknames.

That dig wasn't necessary and you know good and well not supporting illegal alien supporting open border Republicans does not equate to supporting the same thing in a Democrat. Why you persist in making such off the wall comments is beyond me.

Yes, that is right! No illegal aliens should be counted for electoral or representation purposes.
