Friends,

Laws and dates vary state to state, but here in NC most of the state is having municipal elections next Tuesday Nov. 6

I am considering putting out an email alert to make sure that all of our national supporters make sure they know who is on the ballot and what their immigration stances are.

How many of you are having city or special elections in your state or area?

Please let me know yes or no and please let me know if your elections are statewide city special or what is going on.

Your responses will help me with this email alert idea.

Colorado, weld county, Greeley - will be putting my vote in to oust our current sanctuary city pushing Mayor Selders who recently went to Washington to ask the feds to stop ICE raids.

This has been a long time coming, it has the feel in the air that we will have a new Mayor here on Tuesday :D

The bad news is none of the candidates will discuss Illegal Immigration,when asked they ignore the question.:sad:

We are replacing a city council member that resigned.
A city proposition is on the ballot.
About 11 State Constitutional Amendments Election(we amend our State Constitution for certain laws) I know, we are weird.

I've checked and it looks as though Municipal General Elections and Special Elections will be held statewide in Georgia on November 6.

There's a million cities here in LA, Ventura, Orange, and Riverside counties.

Almost all are having municipal elections as well as quite a few ballot initiatives.

Kentucky Nov. 6
Election for Governor and other state offices

Need to support encumbent Republican Governor Ernie Fletcher. Fletcher has come out against KY becoming an illegal alien sanctuary. The big push for sanctuary is happening in Lexington KY and Louisville is a defacto sanctuary right now. Opposing Democrat says immigration is feds job. :(

Not hearing much from other candidates except a mention from Democratic AG candidate that he'd enforce law including illegal immigration.

THE POLLS IN OHIO ARE OPEN FROM 6:30 A.M. TO 7:30 P.M.

Most are just school boards and city Fiscal Officer small town mayors and trustees, Township Trustees For the most part and Ill check tonght we are ok on the issues this Group could help with

The big ones come next year in Nov.

I believe we have primaries in February in Illinois. I was told they were moved up from March to help Obama. A huge election will be Dream Act Durbin. We are watching the candidates very carefully.

Fred Flannigan/WKRS has had several candidates on air recently. They have been against illegal immigration.

I think their stance on this issue will be very much on our minds these coming elections... 8)

Maybe a county commissioner seat up for grabs too. It's pretty low-key in my local area for the first time in a long while...

Washington State

Municipal elections throughout the state on November 6. No statewide elections for any officials, just referendum and tax measures on the statewide ballot. At least some city council positions on the Seattle Council are up for grabs this year. Seattle and most other towns/cities in the metro area are sanctuary. Elections for county commissions and other county officials fall on even numbered years.

Tucson is having a city election Tuesday and one city council candidate, Regina Romero is the wife of Congressman Raul Grijalva's Chief of Staff and another candidate, Rodney Glassman resigned from being a staffer for Raul Grijalva in order to run for council.

I see with a win for both that Tucson is on a short list to be declared a SANCTUARY CITY!

School District elections - two positions - in Santa Clarita, CA. Only thing on ballot for vote Nov. 6th.

The New Jersey Legislature will be up for grabs on Tuesday (Nov. 6), with every Assembly and Senate seat up for election. Here are some questions and answers about the election and what it means for New Jersey:

Q: What's the expected turnout?
A: State legislative elections seldom draw many voters, so it's expected to be low. In 2003, the last time all 120 seats were up, 34 percent of voters turned out. In 1999, 31 percent voted. In 1995, 38 percent showed up.

Q. What's on my ballot?
A. The state has 40 legislative districts, each electing two Assembly members and a senator. Click here to find your district.
What would have to happen for Democrats to lose control?[/b]A. Republicans need to gain 11 seats to take the Assembly and three to take the Senate. If Republicans gained two Senate seats, the Senate would be split 20-20, as it was in 2002 and 2003.
