In the 2004 general election for sixteen of Ohio's eighteen US House districts there were at least two candidates. Incumbent Stephanie Tubbs Jones was unopposed in the general election. Incumbent Ted Strickland had a write-in candidate opponent.

Thanks for the research.
FYI....Representative Strickland is now running for Governor of Ohio.
He's a "conservative" Dem who has been re-elected in a fairly conservative district.
I'm not sure if he voted for 4437 because he believes in the provisions or he's posturing, as most candidates do.
I need to have a talk with him.
