    Crowds harrassing Minutemen?!

    When I got in my car to go to the grocery store about 40 minutes ago, I turned on the radio to NPR and got the tail end of a report saying police were having a hard time controlling a crowd that were protesting the presence of the Minutemen. I have no idea where this was taking place.

    Has anyone heard anything?

    I wonder if they are sure it was Minutemen? SOS is in Maywood CA protesting today. They were expecting trouble.

    Though I am certain they said Minutemen, you may be right. It was a little after 4pm EST when I heard it so it would make sense whatever was happening, was happening on the west coast.

    (CBS) MAYWOOD About 75 activists plan to rally Saturday in front of Maywood City Hall to protest illegal immigration, and counter-demonstrators also are expected to show up, a Maywood police detective said Friday.

    Representatives from Save Our State and the Minutemen told Maywood-Cudahy police that they will demonstrate in front of Maywood City Hall -- 4319 Slauson Ave. -- beginning at 11 a.m., Detective Frank Garcia said.

    I went to SOS website to check out about the protest today. They had pics posted of someone that has raised a Mexican flag over Maywood City Hall. Atleast the police finally got it down and raised back in its rightful place the American flag.

    I saw that too Triumph. Actually said several were attacked and one was beaten. Vehicles were vandalized with spray paint and eggs...
