Former Bush Official: No One Listened to Hillary at State

Hillary Clinton was not effective when she served as secretary of state in the Obama administration and was not taken seriously by world leaders, a former Bush administration official told Newsmax TV.

Jed Babbin, a former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense under President George H.W. Bush, told Bill Tucker on the "Steve Malzberg Show" Clinton would not be a good president.

"I took one for the team. I actually read her book, 'Hard Choices,'" Babbin said Tuesday. "God, it was a thumping bore but the fact of the matter is you can read all 600 and some odd pages of that thing and there's no evidence, in her own words, there's no evidence whatsoever that anybody listened to her when she visited all these world leaders.

"Look at what she said about Vladimir Putin. The only time he got interested in what she was saying is when she was praising him for what he was doing to preserve the Siberian tigers.

"This is what you get when you have people like Clinton and people like Obama. You do not have a strong America. You do not have someone representing America around the world or who is interested in preserving our interests and quite frankly our national security."

Babbin, a contributing editor to "The American Spectator" and co-author of "The BDS War Against Israel," also said Clinton and her family's foundation violated federal law via the alleged "pay to play" scheme they conducted while she worked in the State Department.
