    Amnesty for Ebola

    By Jeannie DeAngelis

Recently, Time magazine published an article entitled “Ebola Just the Latest Hardship for Liberian Patient in the U.S.” The piece seemed to be written with the intent to elicit sympathy for a man who, in his quest to survive, illegally infiltrated a nation carrying a highly contagious hemorrhagic virus. But then again, it’s really not entirely Thomas Eric Duncan’s fault. After all, Barack Obama has been broadcasting the message to the world that even if our Border Agents contract bacterial pneumonia and our schoolchildren are paralyzed and placed on breathing tubes, granting sick illegals access to America takes precedence over the safety and well-being of the people he vowed to protect.

Think of it! America may be on the precipice of a pandemic that could kill 50% of the world’s population and Barack Obama decides now is the time to announce that he’s clearing the way for refugee status visas for 70,000 more people, many of whom will undoubtedly be infected with viruses and pathogens foreign to American soil. In Third World countries, rushing to America in time for amnesty is all the rage right now. If Time magazine is correct, Duncan was apparently planning to meet up with an illegal family already here.
Jay Newton-Small, the author of the Time article, says:
For Thomas Eric Duncan, the visa to visit his family in the United States was a golden reprieve: a chance to escape the poverty and sickness surrounding him in the Liberian capital of Monrovia… and a chance, maybe, to stay on and build a better, safer life.
Attempting to portray Duncan as a Good Samaritan, Small writes that, according to the New York Times, Duncan caught Ebola:
[h]elping carry a heavily pregnant neighbor back from the hospital where she was turned away from the overflowing Ebola ward. The 19-year-old girl died that night, early on Sept. 16. Her 21-year-old brother, who also helped carry her, died a week later in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Although touching, for some reason, immediately following his good deed Duncan decided to come to the U.S., so he lied on a Liberian exit form by denying that he had had contact with Ebola. Then the humanitarian do-gooder climbed aboard a United Airlines flight and after a few stops ended up in Dallas, Texas, where he proceeded to infect upwards of 100 people, including school-age children.
Thus far, Barack Obama, who scared the wits out of America in October 2009 over the H1N1 flu, has not uttered one word about Duncan's escapades or acknowledged that the Enterovirus 68, which is endemic to Latin America, may be at the root of an outbreak here that has taken the life of a 10-year-old Providence, Rhode Island girl as well as three adults.
Meanwhile, clownish Obama administration representatives attempt to quell public fears by reassuring the nation that the same government that can’t find Lois Lerner’s emails is fully equipped to track down and corral anyone who came in contact with Thomas Eric Duncan.
As for Mr. Duncan, the virus is out of the bag, so to speak. Still, the Liberian government -- which refuses to discontinue flights out of Liberia -- and the Dallas district attorney are both threatening to prosecute Mr. Duncan for endangering the lives of so many people, including hospital staff who sent him home with antibiotics a few days before he was diagnosed with Ebola and quarantined.
Meanwhile, questions remain as to how a poverty-stricken, unemployed war refugee obtained a visa so quickly, and what kind of visa he actually possessed.
Soon after a visit from his sister, on September 4th “Eric” abruptly quit his job as a driver for Safeway Cargo, the Liberian customs clearance agent for FedEx. That’s why it’s pretty clear that sister Mai Wureh, a nurse from Charlotte, N.C., convinced her frightened brother that the time was right to come to America, and provided him the money he needed for the voyage.
Why die in a puddle of your own blood and vomit outside a tin shack/hospital in Monrovia when the United States will take you in and provide for all your needs, including giving you a whole ward in a hospital in Dallas, Texas?
So, Thomas Eric Duncan signed on to the Obama Amnesty Plan. The OAP exclusive package is compliments of the president and features illegal immigrants -- sick, healthy, whatever -- being waved, beckoned, flown, or bused across the border and are then matched up with family members just in time for amnesty.
Never mind the threat to 300 million people. If Thomas Eric Duncan somehow manages to survive, which looks iffy right now, despite his bringing Ebola into the U.S., Barack Obama has promised the Liberian refugee that ‘No Force On Earth’ will stop him from becoming an American citizen.

VIDEO: MSNBC Racebaiters Say Even PROPOSING a Ban on Travel From Ebola Countries is ‘Racist’

Ever ready to blow the race dog whistle, the extremist, left-wing hosts of TV cable outlet MSNBC are now saying that you are a racist if you think banning travel from Ebola-infected countries is a good idea.
Now, I realize that posting about MSNBC means their little shows will get more exposure here than they get actual viewers on their entire network, but it is still instructive to see just how crazy liberals are, to see how they think. Knowing how the enemy thinks is the only way we can combat them.

Caleb Howe of Truth Revolt provided a transcript of the comments.
GARRETT: “I was on Capitol Hill yesterday. I spoke to lot of the political leadership of the United States and I have to say I was stunned by how many felt the solution was to completely cut off Africa. no visas. no travel. Keep them out. And this is completely missing the point. The hysteria should not be about one person in Dallas. What the world should be hysterical about is that Africa is facing its greatest catastrophic crisis arguably since the days of slavery. This could turn into carnage across a whole region if the world does not assist immediately.”
EDOZIEN: “That would never work. Keeping them out would not work. And the idea that you can keep out a whole group of people who are America’s partners, whether we like it our not, West African nations are partners with this country …”
GARRETT: And trying to do that racist. Let’s us be frank about it.
EDOZIEN: Exactly. It’s borderline racism and fear.
Listen, I don’t care if Ebola came from Africa or Lichtenstein. I don’t want anyone with Ebola or anyone coming from an area heavily infected with Ebola to come here no matter what race, color, or creed they represent!
How about you? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Emergency Manager Calls Federal Ebola Response a Stand Down

Feds are avoiding their own disease protocols, says emergency responder

The numerous violations of disease protocol surrounding the Dallas, Texas Ebola case are intentional, according to an emergency response manager.

The manager, who was involved in the emergency response to both Hurricane Katrina and Rita in addition to planning for small pox outbreaks, said the official response to the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the United States purposely avoided the basic actions the government would take to prevent a virus from spreading.
“The reason I know the Ebola outbreak is being conducted on purpose is because it violates all protocol,” he said.
The violations of protocol are almost too numerous to mention. For one thing, government officials were slow to decontaminate the apartment of Thomas Eric Duncan, the 40-year-old Liberian national who was the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the U.S.
Before the apartment was sanitized, however, five Dallas Co. sheriff’s deputies were ordered to enter the unit without protective gear to remove Duncan’s family members who were placed under quarantine.
Dallas Co. Sheriff’s Association President Christopher Dyer said the deputies were uncomfortable with the order.
“They’re very concerned,” Dyer said to WFAA 8. ‎”Their families are concerned. You’ve got to go home and tell your spouse, ‘Hey, I was just inside this house where a guy had Ebola.’”
The workers who were ordered to clean the sidewalk where Duncan vomited were also not wearing protective clothing, despite the fact that Ebola spreads through bodily fluids.
And, like Duncan’s apartment, officials were slow to decontaminate the ambulance which transported Duncan to the hospital, meaning that the homeless man who was transported in the ambulance after Duncan was potentially exposed to the disease.
The Obama administration also refused to ban travelers from Ebola-stricken African nations from entering the U.S., which allowed Duncan to fly to Dallas.
“The fact that [Ebola] being allowed to travel into the United States is insane and the fact that emergency operations have not been activated is insane and this is on purpose and by design,” the emergency response manager stated. “There are many competent people in the CDC, the military and emergency management officers who need to blow the whistle.”
“They’re being ordered to stand down from the top.” A former CIA officer, Robert David Steele, warned of an Ebola false flag a few weeks before Duncan’s diagnosis.

How would a ban be considered racist? Protecting our loved ones from this horrific illness has absolutely nothing to do with nationality or skin color!

The president said some time ago: Don't sweat it. It's very hard to get it, very unlikely it's gonna be here. (And now that it's here, the president had a meeting last night to discuss protocols. Great timing!)

    The Regime's Ebola Contradictions

    BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: We have our usual roster of news regarding Ebola today, and there are a lot of contradictions going on. The president said some time ago (imitating Obama), "Don't sweat it. It's very hard to get it, very unlikely it's gonna be here." And now that it's here, the president had a meeting last night to discuss protocols. Great timing. After it's here, we're now gonna discuss what to do about it. So it's quite a lengthy roster of sound bites I have on it.

There are some Regime officials very, very concerned about this and media people very concerned for the Regime. The media people are more concerned for the Regime than they are for the citizens with Ebola, because with them it's always, "How is this gonna affect Obama?" And I guarantee you, Obama's not gonna get Ebola, but the media is acting like Ebola's gonna hurt him more than any people that end up contracting it. You'll see what I'm talking about as the program unfolds before your eyes and ears today.
    BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: There's a case of Ebola that has been discovered in Spain, and everybody's reporting, "First known case outside of Africa." What do we have here? I mean, isn't it kind of a technical point? Yeah, there's an Ebola patient from Africa who is here, Thomas Duncan. But I guess what they mean is the first Ebola case contracted by somebody not in Africa, not who went to Africa. This is somebody in Spain, which, maybe it's a fine point, but why would anybody want the dubious honor. And now the euro weenies, uh, sorry, leaders of the European Union are now scared to death.
They are claiming that an Ebola outbreak all over Europe is unavoidable now. They're making no bones about it. They're taking an entirely different tack with their population in Europe than our government's taking with us. Our government is telling us, "Nothing to see here. Nothing really to worry about. We're working on new protocols, and we're gonna ramp up screening, and we're taking people's temperatures, and we're interviewing them before they get on the airplane. They're filling out questionnaires, so we got it covered. Very hard to contract here. Don't worry about it. We've got it contained."
In Europe they're doing just the exact opposite. They're telling everybody a European-wide outbreak is unavoidable. What is in it for them to create a panic like that? Well, you have the philosophy, never let a good crisis go to waste. And it's axiomatic, as senseless as it is, when things like this happen people the world over turn to their governments for solutions, for answers, for help. And if you happen to be a member of a big, far-reaching tentacles everywhere socialist government, that's music to your ears.
And so, if you wanted to establish a European-wide curfew, if you wanted to establish European-wide restrictions on movement to better control your population, what better way than to scare everybody into thinking that an Ebola outbreak all over Europe is unavoidable. Sorry to be suspicious about this, but I happen to know how statists operate, and I happen to know what they see as opportunities. And it's what you and I see as crises. They see them as opportunities. And statists, socialists and so forth, are all about as much control over their populations as possible. That's how they stay in power, in many regards. Something to be concerned about.
Now, the Regime here has not resorted to that tactic yet. In fact, they're doing just the opposite, trying to say, "There's nothing to see, don't worry about it, got it handled. The guys at CDC are better than anywhere in the world. Our guys at Customs are better than anyplace in the world. Our border agents are better than any in the world. We got it handled, no need to worry. Very hard to get this disease, don't sweat it," seems to be the messaging here.
But that's gonna change. It's gonna change simply by virtue of who it is that's in power here, it has to change. The question is, how long is it going to take? We'll see. I predict it isn't going to be long before the Regime changes its tactics. The problem for them, as is the case with everything they do, is politics. There's an election coming up and they can't and don't want to do anything that will further anger the population at large with the people in charge. The election will always come first. With the media, whatever Obama does, how it will affect him will always come first. Not what the effect of the disease will be on the population, but what will Obama's policies mean to him. And you can see evidence of that already.

Obama Ebola Bumper Stickers Appear Around Los Angeles

    10.7.2014

Vice President Joe Biden held up traffic around Los Angeles for a second day on Tuesday, but it was President Obama himself on the minds of many Southern California drivers as bumper stickers began appearing on area cars featuring the word Ebola with the Obama logo replacing the letter "o."
The scathing stickers come on the eve of President Obama's Thursday trip to LA for a fundraiser at the home of Gwyneth Paltrow and on the same day that the LATimes reports that it may be premature for Mr. Obama's government to declare that the deadly Ebola virus is not transmitted by air.
Dr. C.J. Peters, who battled a 1989 outbreak of the virus among research monkeys housed in Virginia and who later led the CDC's most far-reaching study of Ebola's transmissibility in humans, said he would not rule out the possibility that it spreads through the air in tight quarters.
"We just don't have the data to exclude it," said Peters, who continues to research viral diseases at the University of Texas in Galveston.
Whatever the case, at least some Southland drivers seem convinced that the President's policy on stopping the virus to-date have not inspired confidence.
