Amnesty Turncoat Goodlatte Comes Out of RINO Closet – “His Job to Build Consensus”

Posted on 4 May, 2014 by Rick Wells

Another member of the House of “Representatives” has sent signals he is allied with big business and illegal aliens against the interests of the American people. Rep Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) is showing his true colors. Big business is snapping their fingers and Goodlatte’s rolling over like a good boy.

Goodlatte, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, was an attendee at Hollywood’s “Creativity Conference” in Washington, DC on Friday. It was there that he made a comment stating, as he characterized it, “a grand bargain” is in the works on illegal amnesty.
That is an odd description. The only thing grand about it would be the scale of un-American treachery those involved in it are exhibiting, and it will be anything but a bargain for the American people.
A tweet by ABC News political director, Rick Klein, quoted Goodlatte’s comments to ABC reporter Jon Karl at the event. Goodlatte told Karl, that he is “still searching for ‘grand bargain’ on status of undocumented immigrants,” and that he does “believe it will happen.”
The event Goodlatte was attending, the Creativity Conference, is hosted by the Motion Picture Association of America, run by the shadowy former Senator from Connecticut, Chris Dodd. Microsoft, another strong amnesty lobbyist, was also participating alongside the MPAA.
Cathy McMorris Rodgers, a pro-amnesty Representative who represents Microsoft’s district as well as sharing their position on amnesty, promised a plan to bring amnesty to the House floor by August.
The cooperation of Goodlatte is a vital component to the pro-amnesty cabal, as he chairs the committee with jurisdiction over the issue.
While not going as far as his comrade McMorris Rodgers in predicting a “victory,” Goodlatte described his efforts saying, “My job isn’t to predict when it’s going to happen. My job is to build the consensus that we need to have immigration reform.”
In his own words he is admitting that he is working on the PR, the propaganda, building the “consensus,” influencing and shaping the argument and the opinion, that amnesty is something that the American people need.
Actually, his job is to represent the interests of the American people, not to play Deal or No Deal behind the scenes on behalf of big money that couldn’t care less about the damage their imported workers do to the standard of living of the American people. They’ll unrepentantly destroy our livelihoods for the sake of bringing Chinese sweat shop-style wages to the American mainland.

One of those who actually does represent Americans, Sen. David Vitter (R-LA), an opponent of the amnesty giveaway tweeted his analysis of the Goodlatte comments. Vitter said that Goodlatte was “cutting a deal with President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.”A ‘grand bargain’ w/ Reid & WH = amnesty.”
Goodlatte, McMorris Rodgers, Paul Ryan and many others who support destroying the American standard of living have forgotten that they work for us. They need to be replaced with someone with a better memory, someone who knows they are accountable to the American people.
November isn’t far away, and however the amnesty debate ultimately works out, those who support it need to be remembered and removed from the positions of trust they now hold.
They know full good and well the damage they are doing to our nation, they’re just not interested.
