General John Kelly is now speaking on FOX News to Bret Baier, Special Report. Long interview.



I begged the Congress while I was at DHS to do something on DACA.

I asked the president to do the 6 month extension on DACA.

"Campaigning to governing is different."

I am meeting with the Hispanic Caucus, with democrats, others.

I control the information he gets.

I believe we are going to get a deal.

I explained to the president about border security and he has become more informed. 700 miles of additional security needed.

Been friends with Senator Graham for 20 years.

We (President Trump) talk constantly.

"This is most important thing I have ever done." If the president is uninformed, makes the wrong decision, that is on me.

Kellly has made every wrong move he could on this. He also said the President was "uninformed" and has "evolved". Everything Trump is talking about he talked about on the campaign trail, Kelly. You're the one who was "uninformed". President needs to reassign you. Now.

I did not like his tone, the way he crowed about his great mission to inform the president and get him to "evolve" to his way of thinking. He does not support what Americans who voted for President Trump want done about illegal immigration and amnesty.

I didn't either!! Neither did people on Fox News. They've interviewed this President, they know Kelly is full of it, trying to boost himself up at the President's expense. The Fox people know Trump never said there would be a 2,000 mile wall, only 1,000, which is exactly what he's asked for, he's not "evolved" on the wall at all. I wanted to slap Kelly. He needs a slap down and a reassignment.

He should have never been hired. That is on Trump. No he doesn't need reassigned, he needs fired!

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” White House Chief of Staff John Kelly stated President Trump wants about $20 billion for wall funding and chain migration limited to the nuclear family in order to bless a DACA deal.


Anchor Bret Baier asked Kelly, “What does the president need to see on chain migration to bless a DACA deal?”


Kelly answered, “The president sees that we should control that — nuclear family, that people that qualify to come into the United States as immigrants, if they’re married, of course, their wife will come in. If they have minor children, the minor children will come in. But not the parents, not the extended families. So, that’s where he is right now. This is — you know, we can talk about this, but that’s where he is.”


Baier then asked how much would be needed for a border wall for Trump to okay a deal. Kelly answered it would be “about $20 billion.”


Kelly later said that “there’s no doubt in my mind” that there will be a DACA deal, “so long as men and women on both sides are willing to talk.”

Lindsey Graham is speaking with CNN about his amnesty legislation. He is saying that President Trump likes flattery and it sways him. The CNN reporter highlights that Senator Graham has been flattering the president quite a bit. Graham thinks General Kelly is a novice on immigration issues, he has been working on amnesty for 10 years. He also slammed those near to the president who are speaking against amnesty, like Stephen Miller. He did not say Miller but Dana Bash of CNN did.

Both Senator Lindsey Graham and General John Kelly, President Trump's Chief of Staff, are seeking amnesty. If Graham thinks John Kelly is rather uninformed when Kelly wants amnesty for DACA, too, then Senator Graham must want that even bigger amnesty. He mentions if we end visa lottery how will we make that up.

Lindsey Graham is proving himself an idiot.
