Ann Coulter Responds to Liberal Media Critics Who Insist She’s Running the Trump White House Now

Oh, good grief.

The liberal media and unhinged Democrats are blaming Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter for the current shutdown.
Democrats thought they would run out the clock on Trump without funding border security before Democrats took control of the House in 2018. They almost made it happen. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell had NO INTENTION of signing off on ANY border security funding. But then Ann Coulter wrote a pointed column and attacked the president on radio. Rush Limbaugh told him to veto the spending bill and take off to Mar-a-lago for Christmas and golf. And wounded veteran Brian Kolfage started a GoFundMe page to help pay for the wall.
And then President Trump acted and promised a veto if no border wall funding was included in the Republican spending bill.
CNN is already blaming author Ann Coulter for the shutdown.
CNN hack Jeffrey Tobin said this about Ann Coulter, “Apparently, she’s president now.”
Ann Coulter was quick to correct the outraged liberal.
Ann Coulter: “If that were true, we’d have a wall.”

It wasn't Rush or Ann. It was House Republicans who promised the President they would have his back if he refused to sign the CR and instead went for a better deal. I'm not sure what they were going to have his back with, pea shooters, spit balls, off-key Christmas carols? Last time I checked, you need Votes to have his back, they don't have them, and can't get them. So .... back home we would call this: folly.

But then, we didn't have Trump then. Can he pull this disaster out of the roaring waters before the barrel goes over the falls? I do not know. It's the riskiest thing he's done, an action I disagree with, but he's very smart, so maybe he's got a plan. He's got a "wonderful list" of demands. He's taking it to the people. I just don't think DemoQuacks will call their DemoQuacks in DC and tell them to fund the wall. I hope I'm wrong. I sure hope so.

It has been said that Trump watches a lot of Fox News. Well, the man was getting torn apart on Fox after the word got out that he was going to sign a CR. I mean the man was getting blasted with no mercy on his failure to keep his promise of not signing another DHS funding bill that didn't fund his border wall. Honestly, I was stunned at the withering attacks he was getting. I think it was the pressure he was getting from several different places, including his beloved Fox News, that encouraged him to change his mind about signing the CR.

It was House Republicans who wanted a vote on the record. They got it. Fine and Good. Time to move on and drop this otherwise farce and folly.
