Thread: Rep. George Holding (R-NC) on The Dream and Promise Act

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thank you for taking the time to contact me about H.R. 6, the American Dream and Promise Act. We completely agree on the need for strong immigration laws and I appreciate you reaching out to me on this issue.


As you may know, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, authorized under the Obama Administration, provided recipients with a two year period of deferred action regarding deportation and eligibility to work and receive some government benefits, such as Social Security and Medicare. Recipients were later able to apply for additional terms of deferred action. On September 5, 2017, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the termination of DACA effective March 6, 2018.


The Dream and Promise Act aims to provide a special pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients and individuals with Temporary Protected Status (TSP) or Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) status. Our immigration laws hold no weight if we do not enforce them. Sending a message that immigration laws are flexible or granting amnesty to those who entered the United States illegally is unacceptable and only encourages individuals to take advantage of the United States. I am glad to see President Donald Trump enforcing our immigration laws and encourage him to continue doing so.


Please know that we completely agree on this issue and I oppose this legislation. I also support legislation to mandate E-Verify, crack down on sanctuary cities, eliminate the visa lottery, end chain migration, and secure our border. I will not support legislation such as H.R. 6 that ignores the critical flaws in our immigration and border security policies. You can count on me to continue to work to strengthen our immigration laws and obtain operation control of our southern border.

We strongly oppose DACA, their illegal minor children, their DAPA parents and we oppose any more extensions for their Deferred Deportation!

We oppose DACA has taken seats in OUR classrooms, we paid for it, and they overcrowd our schools and dumb down our students!

No more kicking the DACA can down the road...no more extensions to stay...we want them deported!

No Dream Act, No Amnesty #8, No LOVE for DACA!!!

Stop rewarding these criminal trespassing illegal aliens whether they came here 30 years ago or 30 seconds ago.

Do NOT feed us the line of bull that "this is the only country they know"!

Their criminal DAPA parents "did not know this country" either! And DAPA is still here! Why? Deport them!

But the DAPA parents sure managed to KNOW how to drop an anchor baby, get free welfare, food stamps, free school, free medical care, find housing, find fake documents, STEAL our identities and work under the table and KNEW how to send their $50 BILLION back over the border and FOUND the Western Union office to do it.

All the while, living cheap off our backs, getting the free stuff, stuffing 20 illegals into ONE home to cut their costs down and give us the finger while doing it!

GO HOME AND SCAM AND RIP OFF YOUR OWN COUNTRY!

DO NOT REWARD...DEPORT THEM ALL!
