What is the purpose in changing up the words? They could have least left it in it's orginal form

Every negative has a positive. Let's hope something positive comes of the massive protests that will take place on May 1st. Our national anthem in Spanish could be the last straw.
Hopefully, passive, apathetic Americans will finally wake up and get mad.
When will we wake up and protest in mass? When will we stand up for our country, and hold the elected pandering politicians accountable? Or are we just going to be the next great society to collapse?

Changing our anthem and singing it in Spanish is the worst thing, in my opinion, that these people have done! The waving of other flags on American soil fired me up, but this has REALLY fired me up!!!!!!!! No one but NO ONE has the right to mess with our national anthem! This is disgusting!

You are correct. I am livid as well. I pray that this will backfire, and finally jump start everyday Americans into action. I am still amazed how many neighbors around my town are just shrugging their shoulders and just resigned to what is happening. This is positively frightning.

The Roman empire fell because their citizens got fat and lazy. We are close to repeating history if we don't all wake up and take to the streets as well. We need millions of Americans to do a save America protest in D.C and all across the country.

The spineless politicians are pandering to potential voters who they believe will vote for them after they give them amnesty and citizenship.

We are current votes that can still stop this. And everyone in Congress who is not listening to their constitutents should be voted out of office ASAP!

What they have done to our anthem has to be the stupidest thing they have done yet. I don't think that there is ANY american that won't be upset by this.

What they've done is they have written a song using our national athem's melody. It's a joke not to be taken seriously until they force it in our schools, football games, etc. It's just another way of trying to assert themselves. The song does not make any sense anyway. Just a bunch of jibber-jabber. We should be laughing at it all the way

It's nothing, not even a song that can be understood. No need to worry until they try and change it officially.

According to CNN, they even pissed Bush off with that!

That is their Aztlan Athem, has nothing to do with my Countrys Athem as far as im concerned. Its a Abomination

By the meer fact that they wrote a different song in Spanish proves their unwillingness to become citizens and their blatent racism towards others other than their own. And we have some of our own countrymen wanting to give them a path to citizenship? These people are so full of hatred that they should be labeld as 'dangerous'. WAKE UP GEORGE!
