the man does have a lot of involvement
Used the link you provided. Interestingly, Ron Paul believes that "Those who attack bilingualism are jealous & feel inferior."

I do attack bilingualism and I am not jealous. I can speak a reasonable amount of Spanish. That brilliant quote from Ron Paul ranks right up there with him calling a border fence offensive.

This is the same Ron Paul who voted three times in favor of Section 245(i) amnesty for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens. This is the same Ron Paul that voted seven times against allowing the U.S. military to aid the Border Patrol in border control functions.

"She is a nobody" Who the heck is Barack Obama anyway? Who knew of Barack Obama 5 years ago? I didn't and did you?

I know who he is now and he cannot be elected! HE ATTENDED A CHURCH FOR 20 YEARS WHERE THE PASTOR SAID THAT "AMERICA DESERVED WHAT IT GOT ON 9-11"

How could the Democrat Party even nominate this guy?

All numbers are from the U.S. Census Bureau unless otherwise noted. Additional Census Bureau, INS, and other immigration-related data are available for Alaska.

    Population Change
Alaska’s population increased by 20.3 percent between 1990 and 2000, and by 1.3 percent between 2000 and 2006, bringing Arizona's total population to approximately 670,000.

FAIR estimates the illegal alien population in 2005 at 7,000.This number is 40% above the U.S. government estimate of 5,000 in 2000, and 133% above the 1990 estimate of 3,000.

FAIR estimates in 2004 that the taxpayers of Alaska spent $27.1 million per year on illegal aliens in public schools.2/

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FAIR’s projected annual fiscal costs to Alaska taxpayers
for emergency medical care, education and incarceration resulting if an amnesty is adopted for illegal residents.

    curent $31,000,000
    2010 $54,000,000
    2020 $94,000,000

    Foreign-Born Population
Alaska’s foreign-born population Increased by 10.6 percent between 2000 and 2006. During that period Alaska’s foreign-born population increased by almost 3,000 immigrants, bringing the total number of foreign-born residents in the state to over 40,000.

Environmental and Quality of Life Profile
Water: Between 2000 and 2006, Alaska’s foreign-born population increased by 26.6 percent.4/That compares with a 5.6 percent increase in the native-born population and that includes the children born to immigrants. When the U.S-born children of immigrants are included, immigration accounts for 43 percent of the state’s overall growth during that time.5/By 2050 the state’s population is expected to rise from 670,000 million in 2006 to 897,000 million.6/Alaska has a daily, per-capita water demand of 127.6 gallons.7/ This means that by 2050 public water usage will have increased by nearly 29 million gallons each day.

Trends for the Future: Proposals to drill for oil in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge are at the center of a national debate rooted in the U.S.'s ever increasing dependence on foreign energy supplies. Yet efforts to combat energy shortages will be doomed to failure if we do not lower immigration, finds a report by San Jose University professor Dr. Donald F. Anthrop, a past consultant to the California Energy Commission on energy conservation standards. His study shows that immigration has been directly responsible for a full one-third of the increase in U.S. energy use over the last 25 years.8/

Pollution: Pollution increases as population rises. In Alaska, the effects are being felt by the area’s abundant populations of fish, shellfish, birds, and marine mammals. As more and more pollutants go into the sea, water quality is worsening. DDT and PCBs are now found in alarmingly high concentrations in Alaska’s marine life, and many seabird and marine animal populations are in severe decline.9/

Traffic: 33% of Alaska's major roads are in poor or mediocre condition. Vehicle travel on Alaska's highways increased 24% from 1990 to 2003. Driving on roads in need of repair costs Alaska motorists $102 million a year in extra vehicle repairs and operating costs -- $212 per motorist 10/. 8 percent of workers in Alaska have a commute that is 45 minutes or more.11/

Congestion in the Anchorage metropolitan area costs commuters $87 per person in excess fuel and lost time 12/ with travelers expecting an annual delay of 5 hours. 13/

Crowded housing: Over 14,000 Alaskan households (6.3 percent of total occupied households) were defined as crowded or severely overcrowded in 2005.14/ Studies show that a rise in crowded housing often correlates with an increase in the number of foreign-born.15/,16/

Poverty: In 2005 over 11 percent of immigrants in Alaska had incomes below the poverty level, a an increase of 6.3 percent since 2000. Among foreign-born non-citizens, the poverty rate climbs to nearly nineteen percent.17/

Schools: Between 1990 and 2000, Alaska’s elementary and high school enrollment increased 28 percent, a 6.3 percent change since 2000. In 2015 Alaska’s total student population will reach 140,000, an increase of 4.8 percent.18/ Alaska ranks 40th among the states for student/teacher ratios, with one teacher for almost seventeen students in the classroom.19/

In the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District, the population is growing faster than new schools can be built. Officials are examining dramatic changes to the school day. The changes under review include year-round classes, double shifts, and sending students from bulging classrooms in the Wasilla and Palmer areas to roomier schools in Big Lake or Sutton. Crowded classes are already a problem, especially at Wasilla High School and several elementary schools, where students as young as first graders attend school in portable classrooms. In 2005, about 3,070 children were expected to crowd a group of core-area elementary schools built to hold about 2,700.20/
