This Saul and Elvira case, and many others just seem so wrong to me. Not everyone will agree with me and this may not be very PC but we need another term besides "anchor baby". The "anchor baby" implies many who come after, true. But another term is needed to imply that a pregnancy and US born child is the goal for all young illegal alien women. The "jackpot" baby term is a bit closer. But the pregnancy (by any male, someone you know, someone you just use) is the goal so the woman can earn benefits and almost guarantee to stay.

Say that there was a country where people were poor and the women had long beautiful hair. Their neighboring country would grant many more free benefits to illegal women with short hair. Gee, I wonder how many illegal women would cut their hair upon entering. All of them, right? In the same way I don't think half of these illegals would be having these children in their own country. This is a big scam. These are deviously planned pregnancies, not accidental.

We just need another term, is all I am saying. "Scam baby" or something else. Something that says you use the child as a lever to get in. There may be no father , maybe in some cases there is only artificial insemination (don't think this doesnt' happen) The goal is to hurry up and get pregnant either before you enter or right after. Then you get into the "anchor baby" phase so you can bring in whoever you name as the "father" and lots and lots of family besides.

Color me cynical. But I bet I'm at least 80 percent correct.

I saw a news report a while back-cannot remember where-will try to see what I can find on the net about it. It basically said that Mexican women who "live" in the US have more children then the women who live in Mexico. They only studied Mexican women, so I am not sure about illegals from other countries. This just basically confirmed what we here all know about anchor babies.

The more children the more welfare!!! Also they are very very religious! They don't practice safe and protected sex!!!

Planned pregnancies that are deliberately out of wedlock. I've heard the reason they are out of wedlock is so the single mother can collect more welfare benefits (but I can't prove this).

After a bit of thought I believe the term you are looking for is "TARGET BABY"!!!Doesn't that term makes sense? Illegals are blatantly using pregnancies as an "Open Sesame" into our country. Our bleeding heart liberals, plus the politically ignorant anesthetized population lets this go on.

In one trip down to the store I can spot dozens of "Target pregnancies" and dozens of Target Babies and children conceived on purpose just to evade our immigration laws. The mothers mostly look very smug or arrogant and always talk in Spanish. They must be thinking they got away with us paying for the delivery and upkeep of their "TARGET BABY" because Americans are so stupid.

JustSayNo, what about "jackpot babies","mealtickets" "moneymakers" or "infant ATMs". I have noticed in my area that it seems the girls are having babies at younger ages and it seems that they are having more of them.It is nothing to see a young mom, maybe 25 maybe, with a double stroller and two preschoolers hanging on her, too.
I think you are right about the intentional pregnancies,I cannot imagine being in a country illegally with a very low paying job,knowing I could be caught and deported and thinking-"Yeah it is time to start a family".These ladies know what they are doing,the men too.
