Ask Your Representative to Support the HALT Act to Prevent a Backdoor Amnesty!


Last year, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Union leaders across the nation passed a unanimous no-confidence vote in ICE Director John Morton, citing gross mismanagement as well as his efforts to create a backdoor amnesty through agency policy. Now the ICE agents are again outraged, this time over his Discretionary Memo that moves us closer to an administrative amnesty.

House Judiciary Chair, Lamar Smith (R-TX), is circulating a Dear Colleague letter, seeking co-sponsors for his HALT Act to stop this administrative coup and re-assert Congressional authority over immigration policy. The bill has yet to be introduced, but Smith has said it will prevent the Obama Administration from granting parole and deferring actions, except in narrow circumstances, and from granting cancellation of removal to illegal immigrants.

Take Action! Everyone! We can no longer sit and complain about this Administration. If we don't put pressure on our Representatives and Senators, Who Will? It is going to take a mass effort of hundreds of thousands of Americans demanding an end to the usurping of power by this Executive Branch!

Demand that your Congressmen demand his resignation. Demand Impeachment! Demand that his eligibility for office be declared null and void! Demand that this Executive Authority be stripped of Power! If Congress cannot do this, then the Constitution is Null and Void! Wake UP!
