Hi Texas, I posted the below, before I saw this thread.

    http://www.alipac.us/modules.php?name=F ... c&p=360102

Coryn was on Lou Dobbs. Lou gave him an earful, asking how and why any American citizen should trust those in either the House or Senate?

Coryn showed the packet of the bill 'for discussion only', said that was wrong.

Coryn said he got worried when, while they were working on the bill, that someone said the 'groups wouldn't approve of this'. His response to Lou was that he wasn't put in office by groups, but by ~ 23 million Texans.

This is paraphrased. I hope someone with equipment and ability got the interview for youtube.

Cornyn has a bill up called transparency in government. This shady hide it from the citizens crap is exactly what his bill addresses.

BTW, he voted no on cloture today.

I am so glad he voted NO. But then again, I have been emailing him & his staff that if he votes yes, it's adios!

Way to go. I have done the same ,told them earlier today that I and a group of friends had been out polling our neighborhood and everyone we talked to said if he voted yes they would vote against him next election.

Well I didn't really elaborate on my post. Shocked and bewildered by the senate vote I suppose.

You Texans represented by him are lucky then, Oregons politicians do not listen to us here, they just go and do what please the special interest groups.

Hi AE, you have that right the traitors Gordon Smith and Ron Wyden should be run out of this country. They do not deserve to call themselves Americans.
