Trump ends DACA — and pressures Congress to pass immigration reform

W, when Trump talks about immigration reform that puts Americans First, he's talking about the RAISE ACT, reducing legal immigration, passing more anti-illegal immigration bills, and implementing a merit-based system for new legal immigration, he's not talking about amnesty.

However, he does need to shut up about Congress doing something for the DACAS. Anything they do for them will be amnesty and tarnish his entire other good efforts to stop illegal immigration. These DACAS are socialist radical frauds and con artists. They are not children, they are grown adults. They all speak Spanish and the language of their home countries fluently. They are not "incredible kids" like he's been told. They are cons, frauds, whiners, and people who think they're special and above the laws of our land.

Congress now has 6 months to legalize DACA (something the Obama Administration was unable to do). If they can't, I will revisit this issue!

Okay, there is only one way to read this. Trump has no intention of allowing the DACA members to lose their protected status. He's giving the U.S. Congress six months to put a lawful amnesty bill on his desk protecting DACA. If that fails, he'll just extend the program again. How can this be seen as anything other than another deception?

Trump never did really care about keeping his promise to us on DACA. What it appears like he really wants is to achieve something Obama couldn't ....... a legal amnesty passed by the U.S. Congress with his signature as the final seal of approval.

Email wh @ broken promises and Americans expect better deals than "figure out a way to keep them in 6mths or I will" - WHAT! Act on your campaign words instead. Stand up for Americans!

Remove all illegals and the central americans allowed in by obama. We're beyond tired of their criminal activities, violence towards our women and the social services drain in the billions; give us the protections promised.

MW, that is first thing you've said about Trump in a long time that I actually agree with. Something weird is going on, he won't shut up about these con artists. It's bizarre. He doesn't like them, he doesn't "love them". He actually wants them all deported, yet on he goes, blah, blah, blah, blah about fixing it for the DACAS. You're exactly right, he feels challenged to do something Obama tried and couldn't do.

Call & email the WH non stop - this is an outrageous breech of promise. Call trump on his promises. Jamal and Ms Mendozza lost their children due to killer DACA eligible recipients - how must they feel @ this? Does trump have any credence at

Unfortunately Trump was 'double-dipping' ..... he also made a promise to those poor DACA kids and said they had nothing to worry about. Since his "big heart" took over, they win and we lose. In other words, he feels his promise to protect them is more important than his campaign promise to us. Hey, he already received our votes.
