    Obama wasn't eligible to be President even if he was born in the US because his father is Kenyan and not a US citizen. This will all come out after he's out of office. I also don't believe he was born in the US, but it didn't matter, because he was already ineligible to be President because he wasn't the son of 2 US citizens.

    Our founders wanted Presidents and Vice Presidents, unlike Congressman, to be uniquely American, American to their core, and the best that they had to work with on that, was birth by blood and soil. That's why they stipulated natural born citizen instead of US citizen, because natural born citizens are children born in the US to 2 US citizens. This makes them uniquely and soley American, with no loyalties to other countries through their place of birth or the citizenship of their parentage.
