Early Vote Update: Democrats Lead Republicans by 7,000 Votes in Florida
5 Nov 2016
Democrats took a slight lead over Republicans on early voting numbers in the battleground state of Florida on Saturday.
“But the margin is hardly one to sit on, a little more than 7,000 votes out of 5.7 million cast so far,” reports the Los Angeles Times. “More than a million voters are not registered to either of the major parties.”
As of Friday, more registered Republicans than registered Democrats had voted early, according to the Republican National Committee.
