Biden Selects Over a Dozen Big Tech Executives to Serve in Administration or Advise Transition

Joe Biden has selected at least fourteen current or former executives from Apple, Google, Amazon, Twitter and Facebook to serve in his administration or advise on the transition into power.
    From the Daily Caller:
Apple’s top lobbyist was a chief adviser to the Biden transition team. A former Facebook executive will serve as staff director in the Biden White House, and a former Twitter executive will serve as chief spokesperson for the National Security Council under Biden.
Current and former executives at those firms and two others, Google and Amazon, fill out other positions in the incoming Biden administration, or his transition team.
The news comes as big tech companies have moved to ban President Trump from their platforms, with Twitter permanently banning Trump over alleged violent rhetoric and Facebook banning the president through at least inauguration day.
“We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote in the post explaining the ban. “Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.”
The purge of Trump led many conservatives to jump ship to Parler, a social media company that promises to uphold the value of free speech.
The service was the top free app in Apple’s store shortly following Trump’s ban, which caused Apple and Google to remove the app from their stores while Amazon banned the company from its cloud based servers.
Parler dropped offline late Sunday, with CEO John Matze saying the service could be down “longer than expected” as the company attempts to find a host willing to take on its business.

I believe it took Trump a whole year to realize that you cannot run an administration like a corporation. These big tech guys and gals will have to face the laws and protections of the citizens.
