DeSantis took aim at the reports of payments of $450K to the families of illegal immigrants from the Biden Administration, “I’m very, very concerned about reports. I think it was in the Wall Street Journal that the Biden administration is going to pay with tax dollars, hundreds of millions of dollars to people who came to our country illegally across the southern border as quote damages.”

President Joe Biden lashed out in response to a question from a reporter seeking to clarify White House confusions over pending $450k payments for illegal immigrants on Saturday, raising his voice in opposition to policies on the part of Donald Trump’s administration enforcing immigration laws and detaining illegal alien minors and adults in separate facilities.
Biden aggressively raised his voice when referencing parents who “lost their child,” declining to admit that significant percentages of so-called illegal alien families who cross the border are found to be posing as family units. Human smugglers and drug traffickers routinely cross the border with children as fake “families” with hopes of getting amnesty and residency privileges in the United States from federal authorities.

Biden had previously claimed that Wall Street Journal reports of $450k payments for illegal aliens was “garbage,” with bureaucrats of his own administration rushing to quickly correct him. Biden admitted the illegals stand to reap a windfall in compensation, correcting his previous remarks and admitting the DOJ would make the settlement. It’s expected that the settlements will ultimately include hundreds of thousands of dollars to illegals, with some supposed illegal alien families receiving millions of dollars from the US taxpayer.
Lawyers for the Department of Homeland Security and the DOJ have resigned from representing the federal government as liberal bureaucrats arrange the hefty payments to illegals in a settlement regarding lawsuits that are baseless.

Joe Biden’s plan to pay illegal immigrants who were separated from their families at the border is very unpopular with voters, a new poll has found.

The same poll also found that most voters want the southern border to be closed.
Someone needs to let the Biden administration know that they are out of step with the country on this.

Poll: Majority of Voters Reject $450K Payout to Illegal Aliens, Want Southern Border Closed Until Crisis Solved
A majority of American voters want the border closed to stop the flow of hundreds of thousands of migrants, and they oppose giving taxpayer-funded compensation to those who entered the United States with children illegally, according to a poll through a partnership of the Trafalgar Group and the Convention of States Action.

The poll found that 67 percent of American voters disapprove of President Joe Biden’s plan to pay $450,000 settlements to illegal aliens who were separated — compliant to federal law — from their parents.
The poll, taken between November 1-4 with 1,086 likely 2022 election voters, also found that 55 percent of American voters say President Biden should close the southern border until the current crisis is fixed.
“We were not surprised by the election results in Virginia and New Jersey,” Mark Meckler, president of Convention of States Action, said of the poll. “For more than six months, our polling has consistently found that overwhelming majorities of Americans in all parties are opposed to the insane policies coming out of Washington, DC since Biden came to office.”

POLL: Voters Reject $450k Payments for Illegal Immigrants

Two-thirds of American voters reject the idea that illegal aliens have a right to sue the United States government. Similarly, they reject the proposal for families separated at the border to receive settlement payments. According to Rasmussen Reports, most Americans are of the opinion that “the proper amount is zero” when it comes to illegal aliens separated at the border.
According to this recent Rassmussen poll, 17% of likely U.S. voters believe illegal aliens should be allowed to sue the U.S. government. On the other hand, 66% believe illegal aliens shouldn’t be allowed to file such lawsuits. 17% aren’t sure.

Last week, President Joe Biden described a Wall Street Journal report as “garbage” in how it alleged that the Biden Justice Department was drawing up plans for payments of up to $450,000 to each member of immigration families separated at the southern border under former President Donald Trump’s watch.
Hardly, a quarter of voters support the concept of illegal aliens being paid any form of reparations. Only 6% of voters believe immigrants separated at the border under the Trump administration should receive over $200,000 each in a lawsuit settlement. Similarly, an additional 6% believe immigrants should receive between $100,000 and $200,000. 14% believes that a settlement of $50,000 to $100,000 would suffice.

By contrast, over half (57%) of the voters believe the federal government shouldn’t pay a sum of money to the illegal aliens. 17% are unsure.
As far as partisan breakdowns go, Republicans are firmly opposed to illegal aliens suing the U.S. government (83%). Similarly, independents (70%) are opposed to illegal aliens pursuing legal action against the federal government. Democrats are actually quite divided with 48% opposing the idea of letting illegal aliens sue the federal government.
Open borders is very much an elite project. Mass migration has largely been repudiated by America’s work class who correctly views it not only as a threat to their job security but also as a process that erodes the very culture they grew up in.
Any serious populist candidate would be campaigning on a muscular migratory policy that restricts both illegal and legal immigration.
