Another amnesty, floodgates will open

Can Eugene Robinson (Aug. 1 Daily Herald) or any other person who is pro-illegal immigrant please explain to me why they always refer to Arizona's illegal-immigrant law as anti-Latino? It is my belief the law, which mirrors the federal law, makes no reference to any specific ethnic group. It is not the fault of the law if the vast majority of illegal immigrants are of Latino decent.

Mr. Robinson goes on to write, "If local police are ordered to verify the immigration status of anyone they detain or question, there is a 'substantial likelihood' that such an indiscriminate dragnet will sweep up legal resident aliens, foreign tourists with valid visas, and even U.S. citizens - in other words, anyone who looks kind of Mexican."

First of all, police must have substantial reason to suspect a detainee of being illegal before taking further steps to verify their residency.

Secondly, where does he get the idea to write "anyone who looks kind of Mexican." Again, numbers will probably result in most investigations being of persons of Latino decent. Does that make the law wrong?

Perhaps Mr. Robinson and all other pro-illegals believe that immigration ports should simply be wide open with no limit on immigration. In 1986, President Regan granted amnesty to some three million illegals with the understanding that this would be a one-time-only grant. Obviously, people were discouraged from trying to illegally enter the country. Grant another amnesty and the floodgates will be open, as if they aren't already.

There are certain legals that either fear or have a problem with this law. Remember, who the fathers and mothers of these all grown up anchor baby "legal" citizens are. Those legals marching in the streets were parented by illegals that know or knew that they had a free pass to stay in this country if they bore a child on American soil. These "legal" citizens don't want to see Mom and Pop sent back to their country of origin.

NONE of the records that illegal aliens will turn in, if there is an amnesty, WILL EVER BE VERIFIED!

No doubt about it, if amnesty is ever given again, look around for the crowds of illegals, where they've been and where they are going.

Why?

Because, as one of the original creators of "You Don't Speak For Me" said, she supported illegal aliens in 1986 for amnesty.

When she found out that there were warehouses of copies of the same documents - copied thousands of times over - like verifications of:
-- employment for years before 1986.
-- residency for years before 1986.

And similar verifications.

She said that the Government's records inside America are filled with these copies of fraudulent records from 1986 all throughout the whole USA.

Again, NONE of the records will be VERIFIED - NONE! And more fraudulent records will be added to the same records that Americans are forces to tell the truth on or they are imprisoned - for real - but never illegal aliens - they are allowed to LIE AT WILL FOREVER about everything.

Because they have their eyes on the votes they assume will head their way from what they believe to be a demographic group who will follow wherever la raza, and the like, tell them to go.

Anyone see illegal aliens following ANYONE, except their own willfulness to be corrupt crooks in their own right?

Missouri’s approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears to be more advanced, sophisticated, strict and effective than anything to date in Arizona. Do the loonies in San Francisco, or the White House, appreciate what Missouri has done? When is our dynamic Attorney General going to take action to require Missouri to start accepting illegal immigrants once again?

So, why doesn't Missouri receive attention?

Answer: There are no Mexican illegals Protesters in Missouri to demonstrate.

The "Show Me" state has once again shown us how it should be done.

There needs to be more publicity and exposure regarding what Missouri has done.

In 2007, Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the official language of Missouri. In November, 2008, nearly 90% voting in favor! Thus, English became the official language for ALL governmental activity in Missouri. No individual has the right to demand government services in a language OTHER than English.


In 2008 a measure was passed that required the Missouri Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested, and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be in Missouri illegally. Missouri law enforcement offices receive specific training with respect to enforcement of federal immigration laws.

In Missouri illegal immigrants do NOT have access to taxpayer’s benefits such as food stamps and health care through Missouri HealthNET. In 2009 a measure was passed that ensures Missouri’s public institutions of higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals who are illegally in the United States.

In Missouri all post-secondary institutions of higher education to annually certify to the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education that they have NOT knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United States.

So while Arizona has made national news for its new law, it is important to remember Missouri has been far more proactive in addressing this horrific problem.

Missouri has made it clear that illegal immigrants are NOT welcome in the state and they will certainly NOT receive public benefits at the expense of Missouri taxpayers!

One of the conservative candidates running for office in Georgia is running on the platform of english only "Press #1 for and #2 for" is a crutch. Keep people illiterate, and you control them. Legislation needs to be passed that within no more than five years, (long enough for anyone to learn English) ALL federal and state communications need to be in English only.....that means all verbal and written communication.

Missouri is full of wisdom, and the reality of taking care of "one's own", while fending off the evils that knock at their doors to destroy them.
