Dr. Gina Loudon harkened back to the first days of the Tea Party in Alabama as she rallied supporters of Alabama candidate for U.S. Senate Judge Roy Moore and told the Washington, DC, swamp that Alabamans don’t take orders from them.

From a barn in Fairhope, Alabama, Loudon spoke of the serious decision that Alabamans have to make in the next week, a decision that she said she knows they don’t take for granted. “I’ve heard your serious thoughts on this matter,” said Loudon. “I know that you want to do right by God, by Alabama, and by your country because that’s what you do here in Alabama.”

Loudon recalled her many years in Alabama, a place she considers home.

She told the crowd that she knew they had thought hard, listened, assessed, evaluated, and “have rejected the lies of the swamp that have lied to you for all these years.” She declared that they all would stand and elect Roy Moore on December 12.

Loudon spoke of her days as a media surrogate for then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. She called on the crowd’s memory of that time, the polls, the accusations — “doesn’t this feel just a little bit like that?”

Dr. Loudon continued:

We were asked to care more about the interests of the elite than we were to care about our own families, our own loved ones, our own states, and our own countries, but we rejected them then. We reject them now, and we will keep rejecting them until they finally understand that we don’t answer to them — we never have and we never will, and December 12 will show them.

“Mitch [McConnell], we’re talkin’ to you,” she said.

She commented on the $32 million spent against Moore in the primary election and the four decades that he has spent in public service. She remarked at the oddity that it was hearing criticisms come up against him in these final days after all those years of silence.

Loudon then turned to the hard-working, business-owning, some struggling, “strong women of Alabama.” She asked rhetorically, “Why in the world would you listen to the party of abortion-on-demand about how much they care about women?” In the reference to the Democratic Party, she added, why would they listen to the party that defended letting Kate Steinle’s killer back into the U.S. five times, the “party of [Sen. John] Conyers, [former Congressman Anthony] Weiner, [former President Bill] Clinton, right? [Sen. Al] Franken…”

“Why would you listen to them about your own decision in this election,” said Loudon. “I know the women of Alabama are just plain smarter than that.”

She recalled for the Alabama crowd being introduced to Steve Bannon by Andrew Breitbart “at the very birth of our Tea Party. In those days, and many of you were there, we birthed a movement.”
“Who would have thought that eight years later we would have the House, the Senate, and one doggone fine president?” said Loudon.

She closed with a quick look back, then looked forward:

[Bannon] was there with Judge Moore from day one, he was there with our president from day one. He never faltered, and he was there with us from day one of this movement, and it is up to us to deliver this victory, to continue this legacy that we started all those years ago, knowing that days like this would come, but knowing that we could keep winning because we’re going to make America great again together. You’re going to elect Judge Moore on December 12, and I am going to be really proud of my sweet home Alabama.
