    My Two Cents Worth

    My two cents worth

    Winning and Loosing Without Elections

There is in the patriotic movement a silence, not of words but of deeds. In the USA, with all that is wrong with our country, where are the mass patriotic protests? The silence is deafening—well maybe an occasional squeak. Recently in the Ukraine mass protest literally, peacefully threw out a bad government. Now there is in Hong Kong mass relentless protest against an abusive government. History abounds with examples of mass protests that changed the course of human events: the fall of the Berlin Wall, Mahatma Gandhi in India, the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia, the American Civil Rights Movement, etc.

Yah, sure we have sham elections, the best money can buy, paid for by mega rich Marxists, with government protected and facilitated voter fraud and the ”news” media’s pro Marxists propaganda machine. To paraphrase an old cliché: with a democracy like this who needs a dictatorship? Still many conservatives insist that the only way to save the USA is through conventional party politics. Really? Is that how we “fixed” the first Obama presidency with a “democratically” elected second Obama presidency? The abuse of power is so great and corruption so rampant that democratic elections are becoming as meaningless as the sham electrons in third world banana republics. Most conservatives have no strategy for preserving freedom other than to win the next election. And between elections what should we do, watch as the country goes to hell?

Well the 2014 primary elections have come and gone with a modest few Tea Party victories over the GOP establishment. The U.S. is in a rapidly accelerating death spiral; as more and more damage is done, the cumulative effects becomes harder and harder to repair. The tea party election victories have been too little, too late.

Although winning elections is vital, it is not and should not be everything. In fact, election victories are the end result of previous unconventional political activities. We know what colleges have done to the minds of naïve young kids who then go out and vote Democrat. The “news”media, the entertainment industry, almost every major religious organizationand most of the mega rich, including Wall Street “businessmen,” all dance the liberal Jitterbug and none of it has anything to do with popular elections. But it gets liberal/Marxists elected.

So what is to be done? There are tens of millions of conservatives, even if a small fraction of them were hard working activists that would be at least a few million people. That is enough to stop the liberal death train. With only 5 million members, the great majority of whom do little work, the NRA has been very effective in defending the 2nd. Amendment. Yet even the NRA has had only marginal successin winning elections.

The lesson we should learn is that passionate, hard work by patriots can thwart the liberal juggernaut inspite of election results. Between elections we must fight so there will be a next election. Liberalism, let’s call it what it really is, American Marxism, succeeds because conservatives are stuck in a psychological comfort zone: they want to be nice, honest people. Most really have no stomach for the national street brawl that is required to decisively change the course of American politics. Kick-em-in-the-groin Marxism rushes in to fill the vacuum created by conservatives’ timidity. Timid people do not win battles they run from them. And that is exactly what most conservatives have been doing, always defensive, always playing by the same rules that our enemies ignore, always afraid to label the enemy as the nasty scum they really are. I am speaking in generalities of course. Common sense should determine when to be publicly tough or nice. But the great majority of activity should be uncompromising, tough and nasty.

For example, I firmly believe we could force the government to secure the border if there were as little as 100,000 activists on the border, right up to the areas of sparse fencing and on the river banks and broadcasting over megaphones to the Mexican side, “Stay out of our home.” between the blaring music of The Stars and Stripes Forever, Okie from Muskogee, God Bless America etc. We should force the government to chase us away, we its own citizens. Expose how this government is at war with its own people, bullying them to stop defending their home and protecting, pampering, foreign invaders. Expose the bogus enforcement of immigration laws for everyone to see. Force the government to disperse crowds of patriots, who then return the next day, in mass, at another place, again and again.

We have the ability to win; we lack the will towin. There is not one talk show host, not one major conservative organization or spokesman who is trying to organize chartered busses to the border. Not one.

We've become an apathetic society, looking for friends on Facebook or Twitter, adults playing games on "smart phones" while their small children beg for attention. I see the country in decline and it hurts, my family served in the military as far back as I can trace, I've never missed voting in an election in 50 years yet here we our with a growing population who cannot agree on anything unless we check with a "friend" on face book.
I'm concerned that American's will need to be pushed too the limit before they will act and certainly politicians/government leaders are counting on that.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
