American CEO's say immigration is essential for business

On Friday, during a panel discussion at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, executives from some of the top American corporations stated that if the U.S. is looking to be more innovative and wants to “compete on a global stage,â€

NO MATTER HOW MANY AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE OUT OF A JOB, THESE DIP STICKS ARE STILL GOING TO STICK UP FOR THEIR "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS" AND THEY REFUSE TO CALL THEM WHAT THEY ARE "ILLEGAL" NOT IMMIGRANTS

The problem with business making the decisions for any country is that the bottom line is all that business understands.

There is no thought about other issues, religion, morality, ethics, compatability of the mixture, or what the efficiency of the business model will yield. The bottom line mentality will homoginize the whole world if other factors are not taken into account.

A dollar does not see anything but the most efficient means to multiply. It does not take into account the qualities or differences that make up the spice of life.

Culture is not given consideration as culture is only an area to be exploited for further monetary gain.

Imagine the whole world along the lines of the most efficient business model. Where the personalities of mom and pop are replaced by the personalities of a McClown on every corner.

The McClown model may very well be the more efficient business model, but, is that what the world really wants?

Corporations, like money, do not see, or feel, or have morals, or ethics on their own. It is the human elements that go into them that will direct them towards the results.

A pimp knows how to make money in an efficient manner, this does not mean that we need a pimp on every corner or lobbying our law makers for more and more control over our cultures in the name of competiton or business efficiency, otherwise the whole world will look like protitutes and pimps, and then there is no John left to exploit.

The Chamber of Commerce is looking towards our legislators to play the role of the prostitutes, the CofC the pimps, and all the while wanting the American public to pay the tab for the Johns.

    omg

I am sick of the lies. Massive migration hurts everyone and everything in this nation except big business who profit off of artificially growing a population and off the abundant cheap labor. There isnt much innovation going on if there is 10% unemployment and so many Americans are sitting around looking for work...

They need to be encouraged to use American workers now and this means closing this globalist, open labor market some.

In a rare moment of corporate candor, Alfred P. Sloan, who became chairman of the board of General Motors, said, "The business of business is business."

Business prizes efficiency above all else.

i just got off the phone with a person from xerox who said he was there with their CEO spoke, and he said some reporters have taken things outta context.

he was there when she spoke, and it had to do with kids coming over, going to school here and then going back home instead of staying here to become citizens.

its funny how some reporters take things outta context

What a bunch of hogwash! Now we don't welcome "immigrants"? Since when? We take in 1.5 legal immigrants every year. These corporate elites don't want immigrants. What they want it is an unabated flow of illegal alien labor to pad their wallets. They make me sick.

I find that very hard to believe

They want the slave wage people period , Maybe we would do better if these morons moved to other countries and left business that promotes America first here
