    BORDER PATROL REMARKS SUPPORTING MMP

    http://www.local2544.org/

Welcome. We represent Border Patrol agents and other non-supervisory employees in the Tucson Sector of the U.S. Border Patrol, covering most of the State of Arizona. We are the largest Local in the Border Patrol. Border Patrol agents are a group of patriotic Americans who perform the dangerous job of policing our borders. There are currently 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country by most estimates, but the real numbers could be much higher and the numbers increase every day because our borders are not secure.

MINUTEMAN PROJECT: We want to make it clear because we've had a lot of questions about this.....we have not had one single complaint from a rank-and-file agent in this Sector about the Minutemen. Every report we've received indicates these people are very supportive of the rank-and-file agents, they're courteous, many of them are retired firefighters, cops, and other professionals, and they're not causing us any problems whatsoever. Reports of them causing "ground sensors" to go off are exaggerated because most of those are being set off by the ACLU sneaking around trying to find the Minutemen doing something wrong. The Minutemen have succeeded in shifting the bulk of the illegal alien traffic out of the Naco corridor. If only President Bush were so supportive of the rank-and-file agents. While President Bush hangs out thousands of miles away in the White House, these people are willing to give up their time and energy to actually do something. While President Bush entices millions of illegal aliens to keep coming with his amnesty proposals and his demoralizing statements that he doesn't want Border Patrol agents chasing "good-hearted people just coming here to take jobs Americans won't do" the Minutemen are trying to get our laws enforced. The Minutemen have made it very clear that they fully support rank-and-file Border Patrol agents. If only we had such support from the politicians we have to work for (aren't we really supposed to be working for the citizens of this country anyway?)!

    _______________________

Presidente Fox, HELP!: Will you please order your subordinate, George Bush, to get our borders under control? Bush won't listen to the American people, he defies the will of 70 to 80% of us, but you have some obvious power over him. Can you help us out here pal? Maybe order him to hire a few more Border Patrol agents and some equipment so we can patrol the borders? Get him to buy us a few patrol vehicles so we don't have to drive worn out junk with over 150,000 or 200,000 miles on the odometer? Maybe even get him to quit enticing millions more of your countrymen to come over here illegally by throwing endless amnesty proposals out there and telling us we shouldn't be chasing them in the first place because they're just good-hearted people coming here to take jobs we won't do? Maybe get a two-way radio system that actually works? We have a somewhat selfish motive for asking Presidente Fox. You see, at the rate Mr. Bush is cutting our budget, cutting our new hires, cutting our employment rights, depriving us of equipment, demoralizing our workforce with dumb statements, and cutting our pay, we believe that soon these "good hearted illegal aliens" he so desperately wants here may in fact really be doing a job soon that no American will want to do. The job of a Border Patrol agent! We believe he may really have a pent-up and sincere desire to have the "fox" guarding the henhouse. We need some help here buddy. Please!!! Can you help save our jobs?

ATTENTION AGENTS: Looking for another Federal job? Click here. Looking for another local, state, or federal police job? Click here. Be one of the hundreds of demoralized agents trying to get out of here. We have finally given up trying to keep anybody in the BP. We have received dozens of calls and other contacts over the last several weeks from Tucson Sector agents who are giving up on the BP. They tell us a lot of their friends have given up as well. Our current "management team" in DC has this outfit headed in the wrong direction. The votes are in and our agents are fed up with the way they are being treated. The rich get richer (have you seen the fully paid moves and other bennies being collected by our upper managers while the grunts are told to pound sand?), the poor get poorer (look at the patrol vehicle you're driving, then look at the Ford Excursions some of your PAICs are driving.......can you say "needless custom wheels and tires, $1,000s in needless custom accessories, etc". Where the hell does that money come from when we're told there isn't even money to get our worn out vehicles washed half the time?). Our President doesn't back us up (according to him we shouldn't even be arresting illegal aliens unless they're known "terrorists" or career criminals), our family lives are getting ready to take a worse beating with the ouster of the bid for shift, overtime caps, pay cuts, and the advent of the new "indefinite" details to fight "TERRORISM", our wages and rights are being cut, and our borders remain an absolute sieve (so much for any real fight against TERRORISM - it's time the politicians admit that "border security" is an absolute SHAM)!

Doesn't it make you furious that we are able to send billions to Iraq, billions to Afghanistan, billions to foreign aid...( I think I saw 1.7 Billion of foreign aid tacked on to the military spending bill---since when is foreign aid an 'emergency'?? ) and also the millions and millions for tsuanmi relief...and NOTHING for the border patrol? OMG

I followed up my fury with a call to both my senators...told them it was a shame we could send all sorts of money everywhere for everything and zilch to the BP. I also told their secretaries to convey my anger...these men are fighting a WAR out there.

Golf course? You don't live in one of those gated communities do you? You know ... where the fat cats live and never see what us normal folks have to see as we drive the streets of our cities.

No gated community for me, watchman but I do live in the suburbs outside of Pittsburgh and there are about 150 Public Golf courses just in Western Pennsylvania alone. Quite cheap also with a coupon book, buy one get one free, so the average cost for 18 and a cart is about 18.00.

The other thing that you might find startling is that I could go for months without seeing an illegal immigrant in my area, but I know it is just a matter of time.

It hasn't hit this area very hard yet, so there is not a lot of talk about it either. I am not new to the subject though.

I have been watching where the country is going for the last 15 years and reading everything that I could starting with the trade deals like NAFTA that have never benefited our country and observing "the giant sucking sound of our jobs" going elsewhere. Losing our manufacturing base, seeing the decimation of the middle class.

The dummying down of our children, the removal of religious symbols and god from our heritage.

I know what is going on, as I am sure you do with this globalization and New World Order crap that is their plan.

This is no accident, they know exactly what they are doing.

They always said that they would take over America from within and I hope we are not to late.

I have been fighting this battle for a long time.

I hope everyone else is starting to wake up and see what is happening to this wonderful country and our culture.

But it is my plan to see that they don't succeed.

    Now that is a RANT.

For the sake of all of us, I hope "they" don't succeed.

No illegals in your area ... lucky you ... coming, however, to a neighborhood near you soon .... it seems inescapable. Maybe they don't like golf <g>

Between the politicians selling us out for a global economy, the manical plans of Reconquista, the OBL's, the bleeding heart liberals, the employers, Bush's Hispandering, bloviating Fox, the "other" president .. well, you get the picture.
