    little stories

-I listened to the radio today and they were talking / on FM 1040 / about the book which Mexican officials made for their citizen about how to cross the borders and how to live in America . One of the advices from the book said:
" Do not beat your girlfriend , otherwise you can be reported to the police and possibly deported if they find out that you are there illegally " .
So , does it mean that Mexicans beat their women regularly ?!
I 'd like to find this manual and translate it - maybe there is something else to learn from it .

-I went to talk to Russian nurse / you remember my "communism "posting / and she said that they moved here from California because it does not feel like living in America there . There are Mexicans all other the place , they are rude , do not clean after themselves , do not speak English and they do not like other people / Americans / . She had to sell her property and move here .
I wonder , after the rest of the states will be occupied by invadors - then where should we go ?

    - I went to another hospital and there was a sign on the door / in Spanish / .
Someone crossed Spanish words / not me / and wrote :
"This is America . We Speak English Here ! "
Everybody was discussing the event , but I did not hear the real opinions about illegal immigration , people are still sleeping

I had a fight with my USC friend from NY - he likes illegal immigrants . After a hot discussion we made a decision - since we have so different opinions - it is better for each of us to stop talking about it and keep our own ideas about it for ourselves .

    - Most of my friends either do not care about the topic , either they are for illegals .
I 'd really like to make friends with people who share my views , like on this board , but in real life
" Do not compromise yourself . You are all you've got ." -Janice Joplin .

Sadly many of my friends are so into their TV's and do not care about what's going on in the real world. The only way they would take action is if they couldn't get their 'shows'. I can get them discussing immigration for a while but then they are back to talking about how their life revolves around TV shows.

I do have a few friends who are very aware of the issue because they've worked with the immigrants in this town and have seen how they abuse the system. But we get so mad when we talk about it that we don't talk about it long.

Pretty much everyone that I know is aware of this issue and sees it as a tremendous problem, including the teachers at my children's schools. Did I mention to you guys that several of the teachers literally thanked me for the time I've spent working on this ? I was taken back by that. One of our teachers sent me a beautiful thank you note on a card with a big American flag on it.

I actually know several people who are literally struggling with some very serious effects of living in a small one story apartment complex which has been taken over by illegal aliens from Brazil in just the past two months. Some of the Americans have had to move and some are still trying to cope with the problems. One of the American citizens going through this was nearly in tears last week when she called to tell me that her son who is home from college has no place to park his car, because these illegals have so many cars due to the numbers of them who have moved into this small apartment complex. There are not enough spaces.

As a matter of fact, I told her that I would contact the code enforcment for the town we live in and ask them to check it out. I know the code enforcement people here and they're not feeling too "nice" regarding people who are interested in breaking the laws and tearing down the quality of life in this area. I told my friend that I am sure they will look into her problem without delay.

Well, speaking of that I'm on the way to run several errands....and I think you know where one of my stops will be.

Keep up the great work everyone. There's a time for silence and this is not one of them !!

Speaking of stories, this last friday me and some friends desided to take the wifes out for dinner. The topic somehow winded up on illegal Immigration. My one friend Steve said" Well, there just fighting for their civil rights like African Americans did during the martin luther king civil rights movement" he further stated that" Illegal Aliens are mistreated ". I replied to him" How can you say that?"" Illegal Aliens were never forced to stand in the back of Buses, Denied an Education, forced to use seperate washrooms, Hanged by racist mobs or brought to this country in chains against their will? Steve sat there dumb founded. My wife started to nudge me under the table to stop. Needless to say, Steve later stated he hadn't relized the heartships African Americans endured has nothing to do with Illegal Aliens wanting Amnesty!. He is still for amnesty but i'm working on him . My wife is still mad at me but it was worth it

I have read alot of other posts on here about division among family members on this hot topic. Husbands and wives, other relatives, children etc. It must be difficult to live in the same house and go through this everyday with you spouse or children. The worst case scenario is that you just have to agree to disagree to keep the peace.

Never compromise your believes, Ideals and especially your patriotism for anything, even for family members. On another note my wife agrees with my believes on Illegal Immigration, she just didn't want a rare night out ruined by an arguement

Like I said, here where I am, we Americans are really in STRONG agreement on this. I wonder why I rarely if ever encounter any pro-illegals here. In fact other than the illegals themselves, I truly don't encounter any pro-illegals.

It's very strange. Maybe the people in my area are smarter than I thought !! Perhaps I live in an area (South Florida) where we've just had enough to the point that all the Americans are just in true sinc on this.

Another thing is that in my area many Americans have been so sincerely harmed by illegal immigration through very reduced wages, shortages in housing and sky rocketed prices due to the high demand on housing.

I hope you guys out there around the country truly understand the hardship so many Americans here are having as a result of illegal immigration. I believe that you do, otherwise you wouldn't be here. But if you ever have times when you feel that your area is still pretty okay, stable and uneffected by illegal immigration, PLEASE do not forget those of us in areas around the country who are desperate for your help in speaking out against this.

When we hear YOUR voices from around the country (for example, Geno's restaurant and there are so many other examples), you have no idea how extremely grateful we are to you.
